Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online (Discord, Roll20, Slack, etc.) Experience: New to 5e / a few years with Pathfinder as DM and Player Location/Timezone: EST, United States Availability: Saturday nights, or any time on Sunday; 4-6 hours Preferred role: Player Game style: Looking for something casual, but also RP heavy. I'd love a long-term, serious campaign, but I'm more interested in just being a Player.
Hello! I'm looking for a group to play 5e with. I'm a fairly experienced player with Pathfinder, and I've even DM'd a few one-shots. I'm somewhat familiar with 5e rules just from making characters and watching Critical Role, but I'll probably need a little help every now and then. I haven't been a player in a campaign or one-shot for a couple years now and I really miss the experience.
I'm flexible on the class wanted/needed, however, I prefer melee and would love to play either a Monk or a Blood Hunter. If you need a caster I could play a Wizard, though I'm more familiar with non-casters.
I would prefer Sundays over Saturday evenings, but depending on when you meet and for how long I could make it work. My weekdays are booked due to classes and work, so only weekends! It doesn't have to be every week either; every two weeks or once a month is also fine with me.
Are you only looking to join a pre-assembled group, or are you open to forming an entirely new group as well? If you're okay with the latter, I'm willing to join if you can find a DM and some more players. I'm new to D&D, but I've played some Hero System in the past, so I have some experience with tabletop RPGs. I've also watched some Critical Role, "Dice, Camera, Action", Dragons in Places, and Force Grey content, so I have as much familiarity with D&D as one can have without having actually played it.
I'm also fairly flexible on what class I play. I prefer tankier characters, so I'd probably learn towards a paladin or fighter, but I can play cleric, warlock, rogue, ranger... Whatever class would help round out the group.
I also work weekdays, and will have classes once I start Grad School in September, so playing on weekends works for me as well. I live in the Eastern Time Zone at the moment, and will be moving to Central Time for school, so figuring out a time shouldn't be too difficult.
I don't have a discord, but I can easily make one if necessary. I do have limited experience with Roll20, though it's been a number of years since I last used it, so it will take some getting used to again. Otherwise though, I should be set for playing if you're up for it.

Hi, I'm Stabs. I'm 34 and looking forward to trying d&d!
I have never played. I've watched all of critical role so I have some second hand knowledge on rules. I have two characters that I'm working on. One is pretty close to done (couple of issues and DM approval). Second is a little tougher of a build. Both are homebrew characters. I've never played online so that will be new to me. I have the 5e players handbook. My character is a Witcher (warlock/fighter) class.
Just as a side note I have a new puppy that I will have to get up for on occasion.
Anymore info or if you're interested feel free to message me! Thanks

I'm open to new parties/groups! :)
If there's a lovely DM out there looking for two players hopefully they see this post! (If I find a DM elsewhere I'll let you know!)
Awesome, thanks! Please do keep me updated on how it's going with finding a DM!
