Hey, I'm James. 36, he/they, and have been playing DnD 5e for around 3 years now.

I'm looking for a new game that plays on Sunday evenings after 17:30 GMT +1. I'm not able to join games before that as I work most Sundays and won't be back until around 17:00. I have no real major requirements other than for the group to be LGBTQ+ friendly and I'd prefer not to join any teen groups. I'm happy that DnD is open to all ages, however I find my preferred play style is very different to the typical murder hobo/main protagonist that is found in those groups. When you're referring to creatures/people as EXP you've missed the point of the game in my opinion. I'd like some fun times with a mix of combat, RP and puzzles, with a group who want to lift each-other up.

I'd prefer a new game, but am happy to join a game in progress so long as it's not been too long. If a game has been going on for a year with a group of people then I'd have no frame of reference and would feel like a spare wheel since everyone else would have already bonded. In terms of character/class I have no preference, I can find fun playing anything so I'd like to see the party composition before committing to a character idea. That way I can try to fill a role the party may be missing or at least not step on anyone's toes with a similar character choice. Ohh, and one last thing. I have no interest in joining Discord servers that are essentially just LFG's or West March style groups. While I'm sure it works for some, I just want to find a group that's committed to playing on a regular basis. I don't want to have to try and compete every week to find a game to play. Also not interested in pay to play.
