Heya, as the title says, I'm looking to join a group that operates on a text-only basis who preferably plays in the evenings. My schedule is currently completely open, but college classes will start up in about a month, so I'd hate to find a decent group now to only have to drop out after a few sessions, hence why I'm looking for evening slots (about 5pm earliest).
I'm still very new to DnD, but I'm currently playing another campaign and DMing my own homebrew campaign, though unfortunately the scheduling with that has been really finnicky (currently playing it on Saturday afternoons, but it'll probably shift again soon). I would like to get a lot deeper into DnD, but I've noticed it's incredibly common for most groups to require voice and/or camera, and I unfortunately have a lot of anxiety around both, especially with strangers. I also feel like it's a lot easier for me to bring my characters to life via text.
I tend to prefer RP more than combat, but I'm also ok with a good balance between the two. I'm open to nearly everything and everything 5e, with the only things I'm still iffy about being permanent character death and excessive ERP. I am LGBTQ+, so if you have any issues about that please don't respond. I currently have a greedy Dragonborn Monk and an old granny Paladin Human ready to go. I'm most familiar with Discord and Roll20, but I'm open to learning and using any other VTTs.

Thanks in advance if you decide to have me!
