Hello there I, the DM, and Three of my friends are going to play a lv 20 Homebrew 1-shot/Mini Campaign at some point in the near future (8th, 9th, or 12th August most likely) and are looking for someone to join. All official 5e content is allowed and the same goes for homebrew provided that it's approved by the DM, me. Regular social conventions apply, as well as the understanding that what the dm says goes (we don't want any long drawn out fights over a one shot ;). Players must be in their late teens to early twenties and have a somewhat flexable schedule as the current dates are far from set in stone and I'm expecting maybe even as high as 8 hours or more for the 1-shot (maybe devided into a mini campaign).
New players as well as seniors are welcome but keep in mind that a lv 20 game can get complicated. If you're intrested and find the terms of play agreeable please comment your discord name down along with any information you find relevant (or dm me if you are of a more private nature but comments would be prefered). We're hoasting Sesion 0 tomorrow at 16:00 GMT so being quick is of the essense. In advance thank you to anyone who whises to join.
Prologue: The Sea King's Treasure The Thirsty Wolf tavern bustles with its usual late evening crowd, a symphony of clinking mugs, hearty laughter, and murmured conversations filling the air. Amidst the chaos, a single table near the hearth stands out. Here, a band of adventurers, renowned throughout the land for their power and prowess, lean in close over a small, glimmering object at the center of their table. These heroes have vanquished the dragon of Blackstone Peak, thwarted the dark rituals of the Necromancer of Elden Hollow, and liberated the besieged city of Talonridge from an army of ogres. Their names are spoken with reverence and awe, their deeds the stuff of legend.
For months, the party has scoured ancient tomes, navigated treacherous waters, and deciphered cryptic maps, all in relentless pursuit of a legend whispered across taverns and markets alike—the Treasure of the Sea King. This mythical hoard, said to be the amassed wealth of an ancient oceanic deity, promises riches and relics beyond imagination. Many have sought it, and many have perished or returned empty-handed. But this group is different. Their bond, forged in countless battles and adventures, has seen them through dangers that would have shattered lesser alliances.
Tonight, their weary faces are illuminated by the flickering flames of the hearth, their expressions a mixture of anticipation and skepticism. At the heart of their gathering lies a small, intricately crafted silver sphere, the final clue in their long and arduous quest. It is an object of mystery, its surface etched with runes...

i'd be willing to take part in this if you'll have me, discord is screm all lowercase
I'd be happy to join in. I'm a DM with 5 years of experience trying to play as a player for once. I've got a good hold of the rules.
My discord name is the_coffee_master
"seniors are welcome but keep in mind that a lv 20 game can get complicated."
Please clarify why an "old" (i'm assuming, over 30) person would have trouble grasping the intricacies of a high-level adventure ? :)
By seniors I meant players with experience in the game. If it's your first game lv 20 might not be the place to start.
Well with that clarified, would you accept someone who started playing D&D in 1984 ? My Discord is aramand. Seeya !
Afraid not, since we are all in our teams I though it would upset the balance if some much older than us joins.
I'm afraid Scr_Em beat you too it if I make a one shot later on maybe I could hold on to your contact info?
Yeah no worries
