Hello all who might be reading 😁. My name is Adam and I'm currently looking for two players to join me and a few others in an ongoing adventure. I'm looking for players who love storytelling and roleplay, while getting invested in their character and the bonds they're able to forge with the party they're traveling with. This campaign has been going for about six months now and the party is currently level 7 (started at 3) with the goal of reaching level 20 by the end of it all (hopefully!). We currently meet once a week on Saturdays at 1PM EST and play for about three hours a session. Some of us have been playing for longer than others and ideally would be looking for players with at least some experience under their belts, but what we're really looking for is someone who we can get along with and create a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone.
The setting for the campaign sees the players in familiar areas of D&D (Sword Coast, Feywild, etc.), but the main hook of the campaign is the ongoing mission of the party. During a once in a lifetime interplanar event, The Celestial Convergence, an event that allows those in the Material Plane to see into distant realms unseen, the veil between realms cracks, leading to the realms beginning to bleed into one another and otherwordly creatures to spill into the Sword Coast. The party is swept up in this event, working with unknown and powerful allies to uncover the cause of this catastrophe. From Waterdeep to Baldur's Gate, the party investigates odd occurrences while fighting new and horrifying monsters from worlds unknown, learning more about the mysterious and dangerous individual who seems to be behind it all while journeying across the planes of existence. More details will be provided to those who seem like a good fit 😉
This campaign also takes place in the same universe as a previous campaign we played together, so there might be jokes or characters that go over your head (apologies in advance) There are no restrictions on class or character race (one of the party members owns just about every sourcebook, so you'll have plenty to work with), but ultimately I want everyone to have fun with their characters and be the hero you want to be. Will also provide more detail about character creation later on. Party is currently made up of a paladin/sorcerer, warlock, and fighter. Three people are also currently taking an extended break from the campaign in order to focus on personal life stuff, so hopefully they will rejoin somewhere down the line (a rogue/cleric, monk, and druid). If there is a homebrew subclass you'd like to play, I am more than happy to discuss it with you and come to an agreement that works for both of us. Mechanics for character creation will be brought up in one on one conversations
Anyone who is interested, please fill in the attached google form and I will reach out directly to those who I think could be a good fit for a one on one talk. I'm hoping to find the two players in question by next Saturday 8/10 so they can join the week after. Thanks so much for reading and hope to hear back soon! ☺️
I am interested! Although I have a friend who also wants to join along side me essentially making us a packaged deal. I was unsure how to go about it as we can apply individually just don't want to be separated.
