Hello DndBeyond community, my name is Nick! I’m currently looking for players to join me for an epic fantasy adventure set in a Homebrew world (with many of your familiar D&D aspects, and some surprises along the way). I’m looking for players who love roleplay, intrigue, and getting invested in their character and the bonds they’ll form during their adventure(s). We’ll be using milestone leveling, starting at level 1, and most likely going until level 12, although that depends on the players. In theory, this is a campaign that will last for a longer length of time (2-3 years potentially) but again that largely depends on players and is always something we can talk about at any point. Ideally sessions would be once a week, but I am very flexible with specific times, and we’ll go with whatever works best for players. All experience levels are welcome!

The setting itself is a mix of my own homebrew with many classic D&D aspects such as the Feywild, Elemental Planes, the Nine Hells, etc. There are also many aspects of this setting that will be unfamiliar as this is a homebrew world with its own lore and pantheons; expectations and classic stereotypes may be subverted from time to time as there is always more to explore and mysteries to uncover. The setting is a bit less “high fantasy” than your typical D&D setting, with powerful magics being less common, but as your characters level up they may certainly prove the exception. Due to the nature of the setting, there are some light restrictions on available races, as well as important considerations when choosing a race or class, all of which I can explain in far more detail if interested. 

That being said, for the most part, these are light “restrictions” and I prioritize player creativity and enjoyment above all; if any player has an idea for a character that exists beyond those that I mention in the document I would be more than willing to work with them to come up with a solution that allows for them to play what they would most enjoy, such as working together to devise a homebrew race. Along the same vein, while a player may of course choose one of the standard D&D subclasses, I typically enjoy working with players to create homebrew subclasses that can better fit both their character concept and what they want to get out of their character; this can involve combining pre-existing subclasses, coming up with a completely original concept, or a mix of both.
