Good morning, afternoon, evening, or night! My name is James Corinth and I am a DM and administrator to my "Remains of the World" Server of Discord. My server needs fresh and new faces to fill up old spots in ongoing campaigns, the longest running strong for two and half years now. Most of these campaigns are a little far into their journeys, so if you'd like some new and fresh group, you may not find them here. The campaigns run in different schedules and each has its own rules and mechanics, all of which will be explained upon interviewing you, the prospective player. The campaigns are:

• Out of the Abyss (from 1-4 PM EST on Sundays) [this campaign operates biweekly, dates will be posted]. 2 Positions needed.

*These times have been set and attendance is mandatory. If you cannot make the time, tell me a day in advance so I may plan accordingly.
**Homebrew plotlines and subplots are in effect within each campaign with homebrew NPCs, places, events, and backstories all in play.
***Homebrewed rules are in effect, with some aligning with mainstream rules while others may clash with them. 
****We use DNDBeyond for sheets, Owlbear Rodeo for maps and combat, and online die is a must (to avoid cheaters).

So I am admittedly a beginner player as I have only played 2 campaigns before, both being homebrew that unfortunately both got abandoned because of life commitments the DMs had. My play style has typically been goofy/wacky characters such as my last character which was a young tabaxi bard who is possessed by a God of Chaos but I am more than willing to step out of that and try out something new! I tend to like to leave my characters' backstories more open-ended to allow DMs to easier fit the character into whatever plot/story they have planned.

I’m a pretty chill player, have a few months of experience. One game from a DM that was phenomenal but had fell short, the others are ongoing. I am an undergraduate student studying in Cybersecurity and in a Pre-Engineering program, and an avid lover of D&D! My play style varies with the character I play, I typically play the cautious cynic who scrutinizes the NPCs and seemingly serene terrain, investigating and keeping a good eye on things. Sometimes I do enjoy playing a naive character who trusts a bit too easily, someone who has bright ideals of the world who— over the course of the campaign- slowly becomes disillusioned of how the world could be and now sees it for the way it is. I do character voices and enjoy roleplay! But I don’t shy away from dungeon crawls and combat.

I typically play support classes and subclasses! Divine Soul Sorcerer,  Clerics (War, Light, Life or Knowledge), Circle of Dreams druid, or a Wizard: School of Enchantment. Typically, I play non-human characters. Owlins, Shifters, Triton, Changeling, Kenku etc- you name it, I probably love playing it!

This sounds really fun I have been playing dnd for about 6 years now. But I have been wanting to find a long term game where I can make friends and help create fun and lasting memories.
