Midgard - A world shrouded in turmoil and conflict, where the once harmonious balance between mortals, gods, and mythical beings has been shattered by the betrayal of a powerful unknown entity, set on bringing down the veil that separates the realms. The very land itself quakes with the weight of the impending cataclysm, as monstrous creatures of Viking and Norse mythology roam freely, spreading fear and chaos across the realms. As the World Tree, Yggdrasil, withers under the corruption of unseen malevolent forces, the fate of Midgard hangs in the balance, its future uncertain as ancient prophecies foretell of a chosen few who may yet bring salvation or doom to the realms.
The tale picks up in Inguz Village, in the realm of Midgard, a world engulfed in turmoil and strife, a landscape of stark contrasts and untamed beauty. Towering mountains pierce the sky, their snow-capped peaks glistening in the sunlight, while dense forests teem with life and mysteries waiting to be unraveled. Crystalline rivers wind their way through verdant valleys, reflecting the vibrant colors of the surrounding flora and fauna, as ancient ruins whisper tales of forgotten civilizations beneath the watchful gaze of the ever-present World Tree, Yggdrasil, whose once regal appearance now a visage of rot and decay. Amidst the chaos of warring factions and mythical beasts, the land of Midgard stands as a testament to both the resilience of its inhabitants and the timeless power that flows through its veins, promising both peril and adventure to those brave enough to explore its vast and diverse realms.
What you choose to do in this world of colliding realms is fully up to you... and your party. Will you try to find the source of the corruption and attempt free Yggdrasil from its decaying fate? Or will you choose to become a great force of destruction, aiding in the collapsing of the Veil of Realms that Yggdrasil has provided for countless years? Or you and your companions could find a way to usher in a fate that has yet to be imagined? The choice is up to you as you embark on this quest through the shattered realms, and find your way to your Destiny!
**This campaign is perfect for players of any skill range, from newcomer to adept, but respect is a must, we are all here to have fun! We will be using FoundryVTT for game-play/maps, Discord for VC, and either FoundryVTT or Dndbeyond for character sheets. Everything save for certain monsters, items, spells, and classes are entirely homebrewed and original, so prior knowledge of any of the DnD realms or lore is unnecessary to follow along, Hope to see you there!**
About me
Hello, I am Null & Void, let me thank you personally for stopping by my page! I have been a GM across many different TTRPG systems, with over 13 years total experience as a GM, adding a heavy use of homebrewing on the side. My currently running sessions are Hallure 169 A.C and Hallure 99 A.C., campaigns that I am pleased to have came up with, and even more pleased that my players have made it into such a pleasant and exciting experience. I will run quick one shots from time to time, but long epic quests always end up overtaking me on terms of what I truely love running and on that note, I will definitely will start posting more long term campaigns as they come to me. My favorite systems so far are DnD 3.5e to 5e, and Pathfinder 2. I do tend to record and edit my sessions, something I have only had time to do for my long term campaigns, but would love to start up for any session that is willing or interested!
