Game style:

• Players can expect a good balance of fun, memorable roleplaying mixed with challenging combat, memorable NPCs, vibrant locations and an engaging story. Focused on meeting each player’s play style preference.
• This is a beginner-friendly level 5 One Shot lasting 4-4.5 hrs.
• I use Discord for group chat during sessions and Roll20 for virtual tabletop. Players will have access to my content on D&D Beyond for character creation, which is recommended, but not required.
• Session will have a 10 minute bio break, usually midway through.
• Fun RP, creative solutions and outside the box thinking will be rewarded with bonus XP and inspiration. Also, player reward system through Discord “stars” that can be used for items and boosting up your character.
• New characters will have a chance to roll d100s for special items pre-campaign.

DM Style: I am a professional actor and avid player of games of many varieties. Been playing RPGs for many years and DMing for 2 years. My campaigns are story driven with a strong focus on character development, but with challenging encounters still. Table is a safe-space with no toleration of judgement or bullying. You arrive at a lonely roadside tavern, nestled halfway between two bustling cities. The tavern's weathered sign, ‘HALFWAY INN’, creaks softly in the evening breeze. As you enter, you can feel the air. Thick. Tense. Surely it’s safer to stay inside than back on the open road. As the harrowing night unfolds and a number of dark forces converge, you realize what a mistake you've made. To survive this night, you will need to band together with strangers to solve an ancient mystery and stop the evil.
