Hi, I'm Rosaleigh! 26 U.S. EST. I've been a mostly forever DM for about 8 years now (and a profesional one for the last year or so), and I ran the entire RPG room of a convention recently and I am Burnt. Out.
I'm still dming a Friday night campaign and I'm in a Saturday campaign with my husband, but I'd love to try D&D online so I can play more (without having to leave the house as a plus) and with different dm(s).
I'd also love to be able to stream it to Twitch if there's a DM and party comfortable with that! I'm Rosaleigh_Arts on most things but LadyRosaleigh on there 🫡😁
Best days for me are Monday-Thursday at pretty much anytime. Preference is Monday or Tuesday, though!
Edit: Oh, and here's this:
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: 8 years Location/Timezone: U.S. EST Availability: Weekdays; preferably Monday or Tuesday.
Preferred role: Player
Game Style: Love roleplay and tactical combat. Horror and period stuff is what I tend to run, but different stuff is 👍👍 No explicit s*xual stuff, please! Most other things are a go!
I would love to talk shop. I’m a paid DM and would be willing to start a game with you and gather some great players. Feel free to message me on discord at dm_dbn and we can talk!
As a forever dm, I totally get where you’re coming from. I don’t want to commit to anything long term at this very moment but if you want to do a trial, I have a comedy murder mystery one-shot that I could run for up to five people
If you’re interested or want to talk a bit more about it, my discord is TheGorn
I’m interested in a 5e game, and am ok streaming it. I’m an experienced player of a couple of decades, with a handful of years DM-ing. Monday and Tuesdays work well with my schedule depending on the time and length of the sessions. My schedule is flexible-ish. I’d like to learn more!
2. What percent of roleplaying/exploration/combat/puzzles do you look forward to in the game?
3. What were some great moments in your past games?
4. What were some of your worst moments?
5. What are some of your favorite modules and why?
That'd be amazing!
For me, 1. The creativity, storytelling, and collaboration in telling that story! Plus battle tactics.
2. I love a good amount of roleplay, and it can be scattered about in everything else! Puzzles and battles are fun, too! I haven't been in a game that did a lot of exploration, but I'm not opposed to it!
3. As a player, I was a Githyanki druid/divination wizard, and we got the Infernal Puzzle box in Descent into Avernus. My entire party got together and we teamworked our way into solving it almost as soon as we got it; I had a *high* bonus to INT, Enhance Ability as a Druid, Guidance from our Cleric, Coming of Age from our Paladin, and as a Githyanki I had resistance to the psychic damage the box was giving me upon failures, on top of making my saves. (44 points of Psychic Damage turned into 11, which either holy character would heal me from) Three attempts later, and we had the DC 30 box open 😁
4. My husband is a great DM when it comes to worldbuilding and logic, but he's also very, very, very numbers and mechanics driven (not a rules lawyer, just numbers are his thing. He's a physicist, afterall.) I'd get frustrated because the game wouldn't be very fun due to his strictness and having a hard time roleplaying my characters in time to any roleplay sections and mistakes were typically FINAL. I love him so much! But our dm styles are wayyyyy too different, and I tend to get moody about it without meaning to, due to it being husband.😓
5. I've never fully run or been in a full run. Avernus is the first and only precon one I've been in, and the DM had to quit. The other couple of DMs I've had run their own campaigns, as do I! I'd be up for anything that isn't just a pure dungeon crawl.

I'd love to if I can keep my face off cam

Totally! It'd just be my face on my stream!

Hey, if this is still open, could you let me know? I've been interested in trying a stream/podcast campaign as a player for a while too.
