[Online] [Wednesdays - 7pm EST] [5e] Happy Halloween Mini Campaign

I'm looking to run a 4-5 week horror themed mini campaign to celebrate Halloween. The game is first person role playing, good aligned, with limited/no out of character, and is a touch on the grittier side. I have 40 years of xp as a GM but the game welcomes beginners. We will be playing weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7pm (Eastern US time) (game should run ~3 hrs occasionally running a bit over if only to get to a natural stopping point).

You have come to the town of Bredia at the time of their harvest festival dedicated to the goddess Theia. The buildings are decorated with ribbons and splashed with flowers. The streets are full of happy citizens chatting and bustling along while children holding dolls and other toys dash underfoot. Peddlers hawk holiday wares from hastily assembled stalls. Toys and brightly colored scarves predominate the market.

Bredia is the southern most town of the human kingdom of Cianna. Their proximity to the border of the halfling kingdom of Briseia contributes to a sizeable halfling quarter to the town. Hill dwarves from the Gormag Mountains across the border to the south are not uncommon visitors to the town. Elves are almost unheard of in this region since the fall of the Briarwoods roughly a century ago, although rumors abound that sea elves are traveling more frequently to trade within the capital of the halflings.

Game will be 5e and not using most 2024 rules as of yet. All previously published official WotC classes are available but, I reserve the right to adjust anything for playability and balance at the table (so select based on what you would like to roleplay).

No optional feats until 12th level. Standard array (15,14,13,12,10,8; +2/+1 of your choice).
