Hello everyone I'm looking for 2 other players to join our existing party in playing through the official module Princes of the Apocalypse (with some slight tweaks since the outline provided is a bit rough around the edges). The party has currently just reached level 5 and the campaign will run to about level 15. 

Our party was previously 4 players but one person has left so I'd like to fill that slot while also picking up one other person to make balancing easier and possibly still run a session if just one person is unavailable. Before I textbomb more information about the campaign and party I just want to outline a couple major points that I'd like any person interested to fullfill:

1. You are available for the timeslot of Sundays 16:00 GMT+2 to roughly 20:00 GMT+2 

2. You're willing to cooperate with your party members and pursue the plot points of the campaign 

3. You have little to no prior knowledge of the module and don't mind joining in the middle of it

4. You are okay with banter being thrown around.

If you said yes to all those points, awesome! Those are pretty much the main requirements, so if you're still interested feel free to leave a comment or message me with your discord username, your previous dnd experience (any amount is fine, though I will say newcomers might be overwhelmed starting at level 5 so beware) and any character idea you may have. The rest of this will pretty much be info about the party and campaign.

Party and Players: We currently have a party consisting of an eladrin twilight cleric, a dwarf oath of vengeance paladin and a human draconic bloodline sorcerer. All characters are level 5 and one of the characters is joining freshly as well since the player wanted to retire the previous one for now. As far as our players go we are all in our 20s with varying amounts of dnd experience. I myself have been DMing for about a year I think and have played for 2 years and am currently in another campaign on fridays.

Campaign: The campaign itself is centered around the area known as the Desarin valley. Strange things have been happening in this area for a couple of months now; harsh weather, monsters outside of their normal habitats and villagers going missing. It is especially apparent that something is up when an important delegation from Mirabar goes missing within the area, much to the dismay of several of the powerful factions such as The Harpers and The Emerald Enclave. Our party forms to investigate the area and find out what the cause of this is. What they have gathered is that there is something much larger at play and several cults may have settled down in the area.

Game: The game itself is played through discord (voice only) and roll20. The campaign will follow the 2014 rules since that is what we started with (and all the NPCs have the 2014 version of features like their spells).

Hello! I am interested in playing this campaign. I have a few years of D&D gaming experience and have DMed two homebrew campaigns. This would be my first time playing online, so I would be thrilled to be a player in your game! I agree with all of your 4 requirements. My discord is CelestialDonuts. 

Character idea: I was thinking about playing a goblin jeweler named Richard Carven'keg. 

• Class: Fighter
• Race/Species: Goblin
• Appearance: Light, leafy-green skin, curly black hair, soft and kind eyes, modest jawline, brown eyes, slightly chubby (loves his food and drink).
• Personality: Starts out quiet, slightly rude, and keeps to himself but as the campaign progresses he lets his joyful and kind attitude takeover as he becomes more familiar with the party.
• Flaws: Gets jealous of other's wealth and sometimes gets greedy in some situations; most of the time he isn't aware of this. He is ashamed of his weight and gets very hurt and sulken when laughed at because of it. Doesn't like riding horses.
• Skills: Is able to craft very beautiful artworks, but his expertise is in crafting jewelry. He can land a fair punch or two from his experience with being picked on as a child. He is very accurate using bows and crossbows. 
• Motive for adventure: (I hope to work this out after learning about the campaign setting.)

I did not put any statistics since this is because it is simply a character idea and I would like to make sure that I will create character stats based upon any specific rulings that you fancy as a DM. I apologize for my lengthy rely, I don't mean to text bomb ya' :D

In terms of experience, I've had involvement with D&D for about 6 years, but I haven't played a campaign since early 2022, so I'm probably rusty on mechanics and the like. This sounds like a lot of fun! I've just finished my first campaign, going to level 9, and I'm raring for more. A group of more people seems like more fun, since you have more dynamic! I have plans for a Dragonborn Cleric or a Warforged Bard. If you consider me my discord is firce, and I hope you have a great campaign!

After some back and forth messaging with several people interested we now got our two spots filled out! Thanks to all those interested and if you are still searching for a game I can wholeheartedly recommend joining the EU/UK dnd server that is posted here on the forums relatively regularly. There's some campaigns and one shots open in there right now and all the games I've joined there have been very fun :)

It sounds like a really cool campaign and the characters sound great. I have an assassin, he's a halfling with a great backstory and expert in poison. He's an extra small baffling, I suppose he's a Quarterlingg. Use chaotic, neutral, has a really high dexterity, but he's very physically weak and has a really poor constitution and that's why I made them so tiny. He has a mount which is a blink dog which he's had since he was a child, and he's an expert in poisons. I think he'd be a really good ad to any party. Let me know if you're interested.
