I am sort of awkward at this, I have only played D&D twice; Once was a Character set up thingy... second was our first session. Only I had LOADS of fun. Unfortunately, that group didn't last long. I wanted a long-term roleplay. But someone got Covid, then fast forward two months later of recovery... The DM and a player totally like, Alt F4ed the friendship between each other.
I have a couple characters that I have made that I eventually want to use. :/ Sooo.. If anyones interested?
Keeping a group together for a decent amount of time can sometimes be hard, indeed. People come and go, it's part of changing life situations. It sucks when a story for your character has to end because of it. I can offer an alternative though. I am a part of a westmarch-style DnD community on Discord. Your character gets to live there regardless of if one or more of the DM's or players they played with stop playing, they would then find a different world to visit, with different people again. Our community also has a strong team of mentors, who would be happy to help you get situated, if you had any questions, or needed help during character creation, as we do have a few outside the box options compared to regular campaigns.
If this interests you, come have a look at my detailed post here for more information and the invite link to our Discord. I hope to see you around!
Greetings and Salutations!
