Game: D&D 5e or whatever - not hugely fussed. Group preferred: Either on line or face to face Experience: New - I've played one one-shot campaign. Location/Timezone: Auckland NZ - GMT +12 - ( 13 at the moment, because of daylight saving time.) Availability: Most weeknights - I'm 70 years old and officially retired. Preferred role: Player Game style: Not entirely sure, but I think I like games that aren't too rule-obssessed.
I've created two characters - one a wizard who is sort of a cross between Gandalf and Rincewind, the other a ranger who is plug-ugly and a spy. The wizard can talk to dragons, while the ranger has an associate? sort of totem animal? who happens to be a bear.
Your timezone is a little complicated, but you would be far from the only one from the area on our server. However with your wide time availability, you should have no problem falling into some of our EU timezone games, or even some (for them) late night US games. Therefore i'd like to offer you an invitation into our westmarch styled DnD community on Discord. Westmarch style means a little less traditional way of playing, where your character(s) persist in a nexus of sorts, where they interact with others between going on adventures to different worlds, aka one shots of many different DM's with potentially different people every time. We use 2014 ruleset and we have a good community of helpful mentors, DM's and people in general who'd be happy to help you get situated and playing with us in no time.
If you are interested, have a look at my post here for more information and the invite link to our Discord.
