The campaign will begin as a series of episodic adventures as the PCs undertake evermore dangerous and lucrative jobs for The Adventurers Guild. As their abilities and reputation grow, plot threads pulled from their personal background will become interwoven with their guild duties. Ultimately, these all coalesce and culminate into a grander, dare I say, epic story.
During their early careers, the PCs will have their choice of which jobs to take among the many offered by The Adventurers Guild. Later on, they will have the means to explore opportunities outside of The Adventurers Guild and pursue their own interests and storylines. These will eventually all point the PCs into a particular direction and story that they will have a personal, vested interest in seeing through to the end.
Secret: I don’t know what the Big Plot is and will not figure it out until the PCs are created and their personal story threads are clear.
Despite the “Quest of the Week” format, the structure of the adventures themselves will be roughly 40% roleplaying, 30% exploration, and 30% combat with certain adventures leaning more heavily into some elements than others.

Recruited a couple of players. Wouldn't mind a coule more. Planning for Session Zero will start soon.
