Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Face-to-face Experience: a few years Location/Timezone: Muncie/Richmond area Availability: Weekends, once or twice a month Preferred role: DM / Player Game style: Casual, Story trumps rules, mix of role play and combat
Looking to get back into D&D. We can host if you are ok with the dog (goldendoodle) or come to you, whichever is easier. Open to traditional campaigns or I have several homebrews I'd like to DM, including Old Gods of Appalachia, Dante's Inferno, and one based on the works of Edgar Allen Poe. I have experience both as player and DM, but also have the memory of a goldfish, so I forget details of how thing work. Open to players of all experience levels and willing to teach. Currently using 2014 (?) 5.0
We are in our mid 40, no kids, and have 20 acres between Muncie and Richmond. Social drinking is ok, but no smoking inside (outside only). Must have seen, or be willing to see, Gamers: The Dorkness Rising, lol.
Good luck with your quest! I've had more luck finding people for in-person games locally (game stores, meetup groups, other social contexts, a Unitarian church...), and it can be unexpectedly difficult however you go looking, but it is possible! (I get to go through the process again when I move in a few months...both my starting and ending points are over 2k miles from you, so we probably can't help each other much, but we can send good vibes and encouragement at least.)
Mid 50s and on the other side of Ft. Wayne from you, on the state line w/ 10A. I'm mostly getting back into it because our early teen sons have finally shown an interest in something without a screen.
Anyway, just saying 'hey' and giving your post a bump, basically. I do see a lot of people in my area (Sturgis, MI) getting into it more lately so hopefully....

Feel free to reach out with questions.
Anyone?
I would if I lived near you. I prefer in person games as well.
You could always move, lol
Must resist urge to buy more campaigns!
We just moved across country from Seattle to Alabama. My wife would divorce me.....hmmmmm...however, I'd have MORE TIME TO PLAY D&D!

Thanks for the reply!
23 days until Halloween!
Animal sitting for my neighbors. I'm now at work and feel like I smell like a cow.
