Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Not New, but Not Very Experienced (a few sessions 2 or 3 years ago) Location/Timezone: California (Pacific Standard Time) Availability: Evenings (8:30-11:30) Preferred role: Player Game style: Definitely casual, preference for hack'n'slash but also looking for more roleplay and character development.
Hi,
I'm looking for something to do on week nights after my family and kids fall asleep.
I played a few sessions several years ago to help teach my ESL students English and conversation, and I genuinely enjoyed it, so much so that I want to pick it up again.
I have a family in the process of growing, so I won't be available every night; but a once a week session after my kids fall asleep would be a very welcome chance to escape and relax.
I'm pretty open to whatever (except maybe not grimdark stuff). I'm just looking to have fun and be creative. Honestly, I'm not the most experienced player, but I can learn quickly once I get into it. I prefer combat-based characters, at least until I become more familiar with the casting elements of the game.
Can do Discord (rrhatch) or Skype.
I'm over 30 and married, just here to play and enjoy myself. I'd like group I'm with to be comfortable and having fun as well, so open communication and civility with the other players and the DM are a must for me. Hopefully I can find a group that's a good match.
I'd love for you to come check out our community, and see if you feel we'd be a good fit. We're a non-toxic, welcoming, and very friendly gaming community that has just started to host live D&D campaigns. Our resident DM, AlphaPup, is extremely skilled, personable, and a lot of fun to work with -- as are out interested players.
