I am searching for players in a long-form five-player campaign run on Discord, with Talespire as the board and DNDbeyond for characters.
UPDATE = 4/5 FInal Slot
It is a high fantasy; I will give details about the world and campaign after you friend me.
I havea strict punctuality rule, with only one warning if you notify me that you cannot attend a session. You are kicked off for skipping a session at the last second immediately. You must inform me three days in advance if you cannot attend a session, or you will be kicked out if you tell me the day before or the day of the session. I will make exceptions depending on rare circumstances if there is no control over the situation (E.g: being called into a job). If you notify me three days in advance, I will always make the aforementioned one-time exception, but you are kicked no matter what if you can't attend a second time. The reason for these rules is so people's time isn't wasted and there isn't that one guy who ruins the campaign for everybody. It is also for people who are too scared to tell me if they want to leave the campaign, so they make excuses and then also ruin it for everybody.
EDIT: Because people didn't like this rule, I'll change it a little bit: if you leave two times in the span of a month, then you are kicked. Not in the whole campaign. And I'll give a second chance if you leave last second.
You must also have intermediate knowledge of DnD rules
If you have any questions or want to join, add me at: fdshfdshrsedhresdfhgrnsijherhres on Discord (Yes, I spammed my keyboard to make this name, how did you know?)
Ya, thts a harsh set of attendance rules....missing a second session and be kicked...was interested till I read that....Real life happens and we do not have control over things...sheesh...lol.
Was interested but work / life come before game & even a 24 hour notice is not always possible. I get that its frustrating but not everyone will be able to synchronize their schedules.
Best of luck finding players willing to commit to your rules.
I don't actually talk to people like that, I've just been really frustrated over my last campaigns which all died because there was random people who kept making excuses and just never showing up forcing me and the other players to waste their time so thus I made these rules. And as I said I make rare exceptions if its unavoidable such as actually being called into a job. This rule applies only to people randomly deciding to do something else that's easily avoidable they decide is more important last second.
Some people cancel events or take days off to come to this game, and thus the people who decide to just not show up mess everything up.
