Schedule:  Tuesdays 2 PM, Friday's 2 PM, Saturday's Noon (Will potentially run other days/times if enough interest shown) - Great for European TZ!
Roles sought: 3-6 Players. 
Session Cost:  $20/session, payable through the StartPlaying website.
Game style: Strong roleplay opportunities presented along with a balanced mix of combat and exploration.  I believe that your choices matter and can affect how you handle situations, problems and conflict  (combat is nearly always an option but not always the best option).  I love to take modules known and add both twists to the familiar and changes to center specific players to the story.   My goal with every game is to provide a living world where you affect what happens and where you feel a part of "somewhere else" for the time that you play.

About You:
You may have experienced DnD for the first time through other mediums (Baldur's Gate 3, Critical Role, etc.) and want to try playing for yourself.   You may love to play, but are struggling to find a live table that you feel safe and comfortable at.   Maybe you have something going on that you think makes you a bad fit for a table (Mental Health, perhaps, or you may have kids or other distractions that make it hard for you to leave the house for a few hours).  Maybe it's even something that I haven't thought of.

You are welcome at my table.   Yes, you.   I have had all of the above at my tables, and I strive to make your table experience as thought out and special as I possibly can.   As do the players at my tables.

About Me:
My name is Shawn (My nickname is Fluffy - yes, like the comedian).   I have been playing and DMing various tabletop RPGs for over 30 years.  (I'm 54 years young as i write this).   I am currently retired from full-time work, and spend a good part of my "free time" playing and running online TTRPGs (with one live table in the mix).  Of the games I've run, I still love D&D, and am very excited still about how many new people are discovering the World's Most Popular Roleplaying Game.

I currently run two campaigns, and I am branching out into paid games for the first time.  And I'm hoping you will join in my journey.

Why Paid?:
There is a great deal of time and expense that goes into providing a quality RPG experience for players, and although I am not looking to become a "full-time" DM, I would like to be able to invest back into what I provide for players so that it can self-sustain.

Furthermore, to my experience players who are paying for a quality experience are more invested in the game, which drives me to provide a greater gameplay experience, which leads all sides to be happier and more satisfied in telling stories together.

About The Game:
At it's core, we will be running the module Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden.  However, there will be changes to the original story and setups that reflect the characters involved and that change up what happens in the original module.  (So even if you have played before, you will receive a new experience!).   We will be starting at Level 1, using the PHB 2024 rules for character creation (but we can work with folks who have their heart set on materials not covered in the new handbooks yet).   We will be using Roll20 for tactical maps, Roll20 and/or DDB for character creation, and a dedicated Discord server to meet and play.  There will be a Session 0, where we will go over lines and veils, safety tools and table rules, plus create characters and do a fun roleplaying exercise to help build up your character in your mind.
