Hey folks, name's Athena (she/they). I'm a big ttRPGs fan looking for more games to join. A bit about me, I'm a tv show producer who loves storytelling and dnd has been my passion for many years, specially due to how much it helps me to teleport my mind away from earth and into a fantastical world after a stressful day at work. I'm a very dedicated player who likes to deeply develop characters with detailed backgrounds as well as play them to the best of my ability. Although I've never had acting or voice acting classes I try my best at both, you can thank the folks at Critical Role for that, who turned me into an honorary theatre kid. Below I've added some more information about what I'm looking for as I'm aware the way I like to play DnD isn't for everyone, and that's totally fine, I just like to be upfront so I can find like-minded people to enjoy each other's company in adventuring for the months or years to come!
Game: D&D 5e and D&D 5r (I'm open to everything, but I'm aware this is a DnD forum and it's also the only system I have mastery over) Group preferred: Online Group (Discord, Zoom, VTTs). No Westmarches Experience: Some years of experience. Played a lot of DnD in High School, stopped for a a handful of years, then the Critical Role hype train got me back into the game and I'm in currently 3 other weekly games. Location/Timezone: GMT-3 (EST+1). I live down in South America but I'm a fluent english speaker. Availability: Mon, Wed or Fri evenings (I can comfortably be available between 7pm and 12am EST, but I could stretch it a little bit if needed) Preferred role: Player Game style: Heavy Roleplay and Character Development focused. I'm fine with combat, just like it to be meaningful. Not a big fan of dungeon crawling, but I can take one for the team, haha, I do enjoy exploring the land and lore of a setting. Interested Themes: LotR and The Witcher universes. Western, Age of Piracy, Feudal Japan, Victorian period, anything historical really. Gritty low magic fantasy. I'm also very interested in Cyberpunk (Noir and modern styles) and Star Wars, but I know it might be a bit of a stretch with DnD. I've played very little to nothing in published settings like Exandria, Forgotten Realms, Dark Sun, Eberron, Dragonlance, Ravenloft, so I'd be down for that too. My Requirements: LGBTQ+ friendly. At least one other female-identifying player in the group. Heads up when the session isn't gonna happen. Open communication about Lines and Veils. I personally don't mind touching heavy topics as long as there's consent from everyone in the party. A group that matches the play style I'm interested in
Feel free to DM me if you have any questions or feel I might be the right fit for your group. I would love to chat and get to know the other people before commiting to a game.
