Hello! I’m seeking five players for a play-by-post campaign:
A Grand Tour of Exotic Locations
A Pulp-Action Extravaganza
A Competition of Magical Proportions
**Premise**
The party will race to twenty exotic sites, fight the threats lurking in them, and claim magic items and other rewards within.
This friendly race is between the party and three other parties. Each party is sponsored by a legendary creature—a dragon, a sphinx, an angel, and a kraken—all polite yet competitive rivals who want to see and end to the evils in these adventure sites.
The challenge is to fully explore twenty legendary locations before the other teams do. Any twenty sites from a long list of approved legendary locations will suffice.
Sometimes the party will see other parties at their location. Sometimes they will be alone. They may work together or hinder—but never harm—other parties in the race. Sometimes parties who are *not* in the race may cross the parties’ paths as well.
These rivalries should be a source of fun competition. Imagine the party and another party repeatedly stealing an artifact from each other as they race away from a collapsing temple. (Our story will not include our party breaking the rules by harming another party in the race.)
**For the Fans**
A Scrying Sensor follows each team like a camera, and people in taverns across the world get to watch illusory “screens” that show the teams competing. You may even receive gifts from spectators sometimes if you put on a good show for them.
**Travel**
Each party will start on foot outside an adventuring site, but over time they may gain ways to travel much more quickly between locations.
**Levels**
The PCs will start at Level 3 and level up after almost every adventure. The campaign will end after the Level 20 adventure.
**Setting**
The setting is Eberron, but I’ll supplement it with adventure location maps from other sources as well. For example, I’ll use location maps from various sourcebooks, like maybe the Typhoon Palace from *The Tortle Package* book or one of the lairs from the *Where Evil Lives* book.
**Schedule**
This is a play-by-post game, so while we don’t need to have the same time zone, note that I will be most likely to post sometime from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Central Standard Time. Players who don’t post at least once a day will receive a warning and be removed from the game after three warnings. This is to respect everyone else’s time and commitment.
**Pulp Action**
I will aim to make combats and exploration scenes “pulpy” with over-the-top obstacles and settings.
**Edition**
We will use the 2024 rules of play, but players may build either a 2014 or 2024 PC. You may mix elements from both as long as D&D Beyond allows it. Spells with the Legacy tag are not allowed. Use the most recent versions instead.
**Character Options**
Players must use any official options but please do not build a character until the group members have all discussed what they’d want to play.
- Starting Level: 3
- Point Buy
- Starting Equipment, not Starting Gold
- Milestone Leveling
- Fixed HP
**Party History**
We start as a well-established party of adventurers (and friends) who have caught the attention of our “sponsor.” Party members will have known each other for five years.
Hello! This sounds really interesting, and I'd love to check this out! Will this game be taking place on Discord, or some other messaging app? I've never been in a PBP game before, so I'm a bit unfamiliar with how it all works.
I would be interested in joining in! I've Dmed Eberron in the past and would love a pbp game as a player in it! Please let me know if you are still looking for players!
Recruitment is closed! Thank you!

Hello! Yes, we play on Discord and use the Avrae dice bot.
I'd be down to join as long as someone could teach me avrae. Only ever used the dice roller on here before
