Game: D&D 5e (2014) Group type: Online, discord for voice and Roll20 for maps Experience: I am an Intermediate player, but new DM. Any level of experience players are welcome to apply :) Location/Timezone: AEDT! Looking for others in AEDT or similar timezones Schedule: Wednesdays 8pm AEDT Weekly, starting next week (November 6th) Roles sought: Looking for 4-5 players. Game style: I will be running the official starter adventure: 'Lost Mines of Phandelver' (LMOP). This is a lighthearted, heroic/neutral, adventure-centric ""standard"" campaign intended for newer players. We will be using D&D 5e (2014).
I am a new DM, and this will be the first campaign I run! I have only played D&D as a player, but I am very familiar with the rules at this point. That being said, please note that as a new DM I may miss some things. LMOP is the official adventure that comes with the starter D&D set, so please note that this is intended for newcomers, though players of any skill can apply! Please use this form to do so as I am posting this on several platforms: https://forms.gle/v5q2J8Vz18XW5Z3J9
With that out of the way, here is the hook for LMOP!
You are an adventurer, mercenary, warrior, explorer, or however you'd like to call yourself. Recently, you took a job listing and made acquaintances with Gundren Rockseeker, a dwarf who has hired you out of Neverwinter to escort a wagon full of provisions to the frontier town of Phandalin. Gundren went ahead with a warrior named Sildar Hallwinter to attend to business in the town while you and the others who took this listing follow a day behind with the supplies. The journey begins on the trail towards the town.
The campaign will start at level 1 and bring you to level 5 by the end. You can use any official 2014 content to create your character, and for ability scores or HP you can use any official method (if rolling we will do this together).
