Hey all,
I'm running a homebrew one shot next weekend on Friday and Saturday and looking for players, new and old. Happy to work with new players on player creation in advance. The adventure is a mix of combat, social and some puzzles as well!

Intro Story:
You look around at the others in the room. You stand with your crew that took down those bandits last summer who were causing trouble. You’ve lived in Briar Glen your entire life, and now you are in Garrick Stonewell’s office, the mayor of Briar Glen, who is asking for your help. The village is in turmoil because Malikar the Searing who had been the mage protector of the village as long as you can remember seems to have been corrupted. His apprentices started talking around town how Malikar came back from one of his adventures with what he is calling the Voidstone. And this magical artifact seems to be powering some new magical experimentation. They are saying the Voidstone began to change him and warp his mind, as he began insisting on using the Voidstone for his magical experiments and said he needed to "take control over the region while there is still hope!" Malikar is preparing a ritual that is due to complete tonight. That ritual will give Malikar the power he has been searching for and with that spell disaster to the entire region, destroying Briar Glenn and all who live there. You all that the city of Briar Glen has left. You are the last hope. You have a few hours to make your way through the forest, confront Malikar in his tower, and thwart his dark plans. If you fail, everything and everyone you love will be destroyed. Failure isn’t an option. Make haste!
