Welcome to Lost Lords, a custom homebrew campaign set in the rich and intricate world of Montel. After years of development, I’m excited to invite a group of dedicated, creative, and enthusiastic players to join me on this epic journey. Our adventure will take us across the sea to the enigmatic island nation of Destern!
Session Details
We’ll meet every other Friday, excluding holidays and emergencies, with sessions running for 3 to 4 hours. Please notify me of any absences or delays at least an hour before the session.
I’m seeking one more player (due to a recent drop) who is serious about having fun, eager to develop their D&D skills, and ready to build camaraderie with fellow adventurers. As your DM, I am dedicated to ensuring everyone has a great experience and will resolve any conflicts fairly.
We’ll use Discord for voice, a Discord music bot, and either Foundry or Roll20 for battle maps.
A lot of love and effort have gone into crafting this game, including numerous test sessions. You can expect a grand, interwoven narrative featuring political intrigue, moral dilemmas, and a world that evolves based on your choices. I can’t wait to embark on this journey with you!
Important Notes
The Lost Lords campaign is planned to run for at least 8 months, with characters advancing to their maximum potential (Level 20+).
This recruitment process is taken very seriously.
Requirements
Age 18+: Due to mature themes and to ensure a level of maturity in gameplay.
Good quality microphone/headset: Essential for clear communication.
About events of the sessions and where you will start
The Nations: North of the nation of Uclus, nestled in the Sea of Ascus, lies the small yet formidable nation of Destern. For seven centuries, Destern has stood as a bastion of power, governed by King James Destern, the 9th monarch of his lineage. Known for its vast reserves of rare minerals hidden within its mountainous terrain, Destern has risen to become one of the world’s great superpowers. first two sessions- We're only two sessions in, and already our group is a chaotic mix of weird and wacky characters, thrown together by the aftermath of a terrible event. An evil necromancer ran rampant during a festival in the city of Jark, leaving thousands dead in his wake. The lord and ruler of this region in Destern has spoken with the party and plans to meet with them again in the coming days.
Pitch for you - After the horrors of the festival, you’re finally minding your own business, heading back to your room to recover from the chaos. But when you open the door, you step into a completely different domain. Instead of your familiar surroundings, you find yourself in a grand study, surrounded by strangers you've never seen before. Now, for reasons unknown, you’re all gathered in this mysterious place—together.
