Hello I'm 19 and used to play a lot more before. I've got lots of experience in long games and I might be a bit slow at first but I can be really good roleplay, I even did improve for a year in high school cause I wanted to be better at dnd lol. I can play just about anything and have a good time, though I do like int for being able to learn lore and magical stuff. Also, I'm PST and the time is good for me :)
Hiya this seems like a fun time to be had and it’s during the weekend so I’m really interested
30 He/Him
This would be my first game as a player with previous experience only being had as a DM for a short campaign. I’m a pretty chill guy albeit a little shy but I’m eager to learn and play if you still have a spot open
Are you still looking for players? I started playing d&d in 1979 and have played a lot of 5e. I took a little brake for RL stuff and I'm ready to get in. I'm on EST time.
Hi, I like the emphasis on story, I love rp. I'm 37f, started playing DnD this year, I DM a homebrew irl with some friends, and have been playing one shots/short campaigns as a PC to learn more classes. I only have magic based classes left and would like to play one of those. I am looking for a long term campaign where I can be a PC. I am a pretty silly person with a dark sense of humor.
I am quite interested in learning more about your campaign, especially with the mention of heavy roleplay. I enjoy exploring and poking into corners of the world created, engaging PCs and NPCs, and getting caught up in the narrative. I put much consideration into how my characters fit and interact with the world and like to work up fairly detailed backstories. I started playing with AD&D, took a long hiatus and picked up again several years ago. I currently play on a couple Westmarch servers but would love to find another longer-term group.
An Oppressively setting. Like its not Grimdark like Warhammer, There is still hope in the world, but there is also a lot of violence and a lot of death and elements of Horror thrown in
Potentially interesting setting. I only have 2024 rule stuff, though, so if there's a campaign with sourcebook sharing I would be able to make a far more tailored character than I could with the free 2014 material.
Old man with experience playing TTRPGs across 45 years (Yes, since 1979).
I try to find or identify the character in my head, and then the mechanics that match, or close enough. There are lots of Fighters for example, but why is this one a polearm guy, that one an archer, and the third one a knightly sword and board guy? Because of who they are, where they came from. Finding the character before the mechanics makes mechanical selections much simpler! I would need more about the setting to help find a character concept. I could adapt to what the group needs might be easily enough, but a story-first setting normally cares much less about the "perfect" party composition.
I am also US Central Time Zone, and your start time is early enough to allow for a solid session before I would need to consider heading to bed to prepare for work on Monday.
Consider me if you will.

Dark Fantasy?
Dark like in an oppressive setting? Dark like the PCs aren't the good guys?
Trying to understand what you are advertising, honestly. Time works well for me, but I don't know if the game will, right?
