I need to be fully transparent here and say I literally CANNOT pay for sessions. I'm in college right now and don't have the funds to pay for sessions. Even if I did have the funds available, I don't feel comfortable giving money to people that I don't know on the internet, which is why I was hoping to find sessions of DnD that didn't need to be paid for (This includes all sessions due to me lacking in funds). I'll be putting all the info I can here so there are no more miss-communications.
Important notice: I do not want to be put into a group that talks about anything inappropriate or s-xual. Inappropriate topics genuinely make me feel ill irl and I either end up wanting to puke or I have nightmares. If you are to dm me about a group, PLEASE, PLEASE be transparent with me if you or your group talks about inappropriate topics because I literally get grossed out about that stuff.
Hi, I go by Sarah/Dust, I'm 19 years old, she/her, and I've been roleplaying for 7-8 years. I have never played DnD before and I am a brand new player. I'm currently in college right now, so I'm not available Mondays-Thursdays; however, I am available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (1pm-6pm EST). I can't really stay up past 8pm(EST), but if I have no other choice then I'm willing to stay up until 11pm(EST) for a session. The earliest I'm willing to do is 12pm(EST) since I don't want to do any sessions in the early mornings, but again, I'll take what I can get.
I preferably don't want to be in a space with people under the ages of 17 or above the ages of 26; however, I won't be too picky about this.
I want to find a campaign that is starting out new so that I'm not joining in the middle of the story/session and that these sessions are new player friendly. All of these sessions would be happening online through discord or other means. Don't offer irl "meet-ups", please.
I have a character prepared already for DnD sessions; however, if you want me to change anything about this character (or they don't fit with the current story-line), you need to be transparent with me about that and we can have a convo about it in dms.
If you message me on discord, you need to tell me everything you can about your campaign. For example, what it's about, if it's a new campaign, if it's a paid one, etc. I don't want anymore miss-communications.
This post will stay up in this manner until I know for 100% certainty that I found a campaign/group I can join.
My discord is: Goneversedust
If you send me anything bad, inappropriate, or harmful/hateful, I will be blocking you. If you have ANY questions or concerns, ask them in the comments below here, and I'll most likely get back to you soon. Thanks for reading.
If you're lgbtq and find yourself able to play late on Friday (7:30pm EST start time with sessions running usually around 3-4 hours), feel free to dm me to get more info. The campaign is on break and will be starting back up in a few weeks. If not, no need to reply.
I might be interested, but before I ask for your discord, are these sessions of yours ones that need to be paid for or are they free? (This includes all sessions, not just the first one).
The campaign is in progress so you'd be starting at a higher level (most likely level 8) which may be overwhelming depending on the class you pick. We also are a larger group with 6 people, another thing that can be overwhelming at first. But long as you ask questions, everything should be good. No one is going to get annoyed or judge. The other player that will be mostly new to the campaign has technically played before but did not have a good experience with their DM so they should be asking questions too.
I'm a little confused. I've never played before so idk how starting at a higher level works. Btw, I don't mind 6 people, that isn't too much. I'll ask the rest of the questions/concerns I have in dms. Please provide me your discord so I may contact you and we can discuss things and I'll decide from our discussions there if I would like to join or not.
Please read everything before dming me.

Yep, completely free.
