I’m a semi-experienced DM but I have ran this campaign before and this currently running an in person one right now. This campaign will not follow the traditional storyline but will have a lot of similarities to the actual OP anime. There will be a lot of homebrew islands, characters and devil fruits. Haki will also be implemented into this campaign but won’t happen for a bit till you reach that point. The time will be set after Gol D. Roger’s death and will be the start of the pirate era. Be prepared to be power in time, because y’all will be receiving techniques, haki, devil fruits, stat buffs, and an increased level cap and modifier cap. I will put it up to a vote if where y’all want to start.
Option 1- Start in one of the seas at level 3, a devil fruit will be found in the first session, but it will start y’all off easy and slowly get harder and harder as you go along.
Option 2- Start crashed onto the first island in the grand line at level 5, you will have a health buff and technique or special weapon of sorts. You will also find a devil fruit first session but it will start off difficult and only get more difficult as you play along.
There is no magic in this world so most dnd classes aren’t allowed. Here’s a list of classes and races I allow;
Artificer - All subclasses are allowed but will be flavored as a cyborg.
Barbarian - All subclasses except Zealot, Wild magic, and Strom Herald subclasses are allowed.
Fighter - All subclasses except Eldritch Knight, Psi Warrior, and Rune Knight subclasses are allowed.
Rogue - All subclasses except Arcane Trickster and Soulknife subclasses are allowed.
Fishman - All subraces are allowed. (Also this is the “Black” from 1945… black codes)
Cyborg - All subraces are allowed and talk to me if you have a system idea for it.
I’m planing on doing this on either Wednesday or Sunday, will decide as a group. Will be done from 5-10 pm in CDT. My discord is King_High. Add me if you have any questions or is interested in this campaign.
