Hi there lovely people! I'm looking to run a Wild Beyond the Witchlight campaign with an emphasis on wild fey magic and general shenanigans. This will be an extremely roleplay-heavy campaign (think 90/10 split with combat) and focused on coming up with creative solutions to everything you will face. I focus heavily on character backstories and like incorporating them into the main storyline, so the plot will be extremely player-driven.
Now, a bit about me: I'm a semi-experienced DM (I've run four campaigns before this, a 50/50 split of homebrew and by the book). I'm nonbinary and very queer and hopefully searching for other LGBTQ+ D&D nerds to join my chaos hoard. I'm in the GMT+9 time zone and planning to host sessions in the evenings, with some flexibility for which day (specific time will likely be around 19:00 GMT+9).
What can you look forward to if you join this game? If you're a fan of wild magic sorcerers or just the general chaos wild magic can bring, you're in good company. Wild magic will be a huge component of this game, with every player rolling on a custom wild magic table that I have constructed. The tone of the game will be pretty lighthearted, and I am very relaxed by what I let my players get away with. Before the start of the session, we will be having session zero to create characters, discuss comfort levels with various topics that might come up throughout the game, and lay down house rules. The game will be run via a server on Discord, source material on D&D Beyond, and maps either on Owlbear or Roll20 (the game will be primarily Theater of Mind)
This game will use 2014 rules. I am open to almost all races, classes, backgrounds, etc, and am very willing to work with you to homebrew something if you are interested. The setting is feywild; players will start out in the Witchlight Carnival and ultimately travel into the Feywild. The characters will all initially start out in Waterdeep (a relatively 'classic dnd' type city with all many of folk).
Who am I looking for? While this game is open to new players, I would prefer if you come in with some knowledge of the game and a willingness to go all out with roleplay. Age range-wise, I would prefer players 18-26; please do not apply if you are younger than 18.
Thank you for reading through this, please fill out this: https://forms.gle/BT3bXH5t83nk1P5T7 Google form to apply! If you have any questions please feel free to ask below.
Hey, I'd be super down to play this adventure! I've been looking for a LGBTQIA+ friendly group so this seems like fun. I filled out the form and my discord is yeye ! #urboisp3682 in case there's any issues

Are you open to fellow queer folks outside the 18-26 range? I'm in my late-30s...
