Ready to unearth long-lost treasures and brave the unknown? Strange whispers speak of untouched tombs in these borderlands, their halls still glittering with the wealth of fallen empires. Each expedition brings fresh wonders - imagine discovering the preserved chambers of ancient sorcerer-kings, decoding mystical inscriptions that hint at earth-shaking secrets, or filling your sacks with priceless artifacts while staying one step ahead of rival treasure hunters.
But beware - you're not the first to seek these riches, and the bones of failed adventurers litter these ruins. As your reputation grows, you'll find yourself entangled in the ambitions of dark forces, powerful monsters, and dangerous people. Your humble beginnings as treasure hunters could lead to commanding armies, ruling cities, or pursuing whatever grand ambitions you conceive.
Fair warning: Combat is deadly, and charging in sword-first is a quick path to rolling up a new character. Success requires creative thinking, careful planning, and knowing when to fight versus when to parley, sneak, or run.
I'm seeking players who:
- Have personal goals and ambitions for their characters
- Enjoy problem-solving and creative solutions
- Want to make lasting changes to the game world
- Are comfortable with both dungeon delving and political intrigue
- Appreciate tactical combat and strategic decision-making
These can all be learned!

We will be using discord and will play Sunday afternoons. If you are interested please reply with your name, discord, and the best RPG campaign you have played in.
If you're looking for a game where your choices matter and you can forge your own path to glory (or infamy), let's talk.
Hey there, my names Matt and your campaign sounds pretty cool. Few questions tho. I play DnD in person every other Monday and use Dndbeyond along side my sheet but I've never played online before. My in person group has discord for rules, schedules etc but we don't play through it or anything. Would this be more suited for a laptop or is it something that can be done on phone? Do we use dndbeyond for playing or do you have something else in mind?
Hey Matt! Thanks for the interest, glad you think the campaign sounds cool!
To answer your questions: We'll be using a Virtual Tabletop (VTT) for the game, so a laptop is definitely recommended—it'll make it much easier to view and interact with the battlefields. Discord will be our main hub for communication, but you won't need D&D Beyond for this campaign. I’ve got everything set up to run without it, so you can just focus on the game itself!
Hello there my Pat and I would also like to join as like the previous person this sounds pretty cool but also I do have a few questions of my own: first is there a specific age demographic, what time zone will be used to figure out what time we should be at the game and what kind of Virtual Tabletop will be used
There is no specific age demographic but the majority of players I have so far seem to be 20-30. As mentioned in the post we will be playing Sunday afternoons PST, but the exact time has not been decided yet. Something like 5-9pm PST seems probable. We will be using Owlbear Rodeo for any combat encounters. If you are interested please add me on discord here: ahan132
Hey, to answer the above questions, my name's Michael, discord is engineer13#6879, and I haven't played a huge amount of D&D, so I don't have any examples of a campaign there, but I'd have to go with Outer Wilds as one of the best RPGs I've ever played. I'm CST, and should be able to work with most any time you were mentioning above.
Hello, I'm on the newer end of DnD. I've only been in one campaign that fizzled out around session 3 but I rather liked it despite not getting very far. Despite that I've been absorbed into DnD content for a long while now and am familiar with most things involved and willing to put in the effort to learn the style of your game world. If that's good enough to get a foot in the door, hi my name is Andrew and my disco handle is evilunderlord.
Hi, I'm Zoe and this sounds like a lot of fun, particularly the mix of out-of-combat politics and combat deadliness with both seemingly requiring creativity and skill. My discord is zozozoembie and the best campaign was in a homebrew 'company' based campaign where my character was employed as the plan-maker for a mercenary company which turned out to be just a cool framing device for rime of the frostmaiden but I still enjoyed the experience. Lasting changes to the game world sounds promising! Thanks for reading.
Hey, I'm Phi My discord is PaladinPhi My favorite campaign is hard, honestly. Been in a few really good ones. I remember really loving an in person campaign I was in where we switched off DMs. I started it, but we had people rotate in and tell stories in the same world. It ended up being a lot of fun to build up this whole thing with my friends, so probably that one.
My name is Quinn, my discord is quincywaldo66. I've only played in one campaign that ran long enough to count, in it I was a retired gladiator who came out of retirement to become a bounty hunter after being hard on cash

Hey there! My name is Austen, my discord is MrHermitCrab, and the best ttrpg campaign I've played in is Spelljammer.
I love the RP aspect of D&D, and a campaign where I can build and grow a character sounds like a lot of fun!
