We have been playing since Christmas last year, we started with the shattered obelisk module but ended up homebrewing it until its now a separate campaign entirely. Set in the Forgotten realms, our story followed a band of misfits hired to escort a wagon. Almost a year later and the party has: Saved the village of phandalin and restored the mine, killed a dragon, started recruiting an army of restored villains, got very drunk on numerous occasions, and now they are wrapping up a storyline with a crime syndicate in the city of neverwinter and corruption and mind magic... We are big on RP, very much so, but do enjoy a good combat too. The party has demonstrated that they like to resolve issues through narrative when possible, but we do use mechanics etc and I as a DM try to reward game based play too, not just RP. We are a mixed bunch, from the netherlands and the UK and america, and have no preference for where you are from. The main requirement is a commitment to playing weekly on Tuesday nights - please only apply if you are seriously keen on DND :) no experience is required however because we are starting in an established story at level 8, its probably best if you have at least played one or two campaigns before. Its definitely uncommon to come into a group at such a high level - the basic plot to explain it is this: having returned to the city of neverwinter, having just taken down a crime syndicate causing chaos, the remaining current party members are hailed as heroes at last. But their numbers are reduced. They now need to recruit some extra muscle to help in their next adventure - and this is where you come in. So your character should be a somewhat developed, known hero in the realm of neverwinter. Please get in touch, i know youll have questions. Thanks!
