BRIEF INFO ABOUT ME: Hello protentional readers, recently I've been wanting to play DND badly but I've been having a difficult time finding parties mostly because I find it difficult to put myself out there and look for groups. So I was hoping I'd get some success through DND beyond. I am 16 years old and go by she/they pronouns and live in a GMT time zone. I'm looking for a group that is LGBTQ+ friendly and that has sessions past 3pm the day doesn't necessarily matter to me.
EXPERIENCE:
MY experience with DND has been varied throughout the years, my father is a huge tabletop rpg nerd and got me into it really young. The issue is I've always found it hard to find people to play with especially in real life. I have also sort of been stuck as a forever GM/DM when I hosted campaigns for some of my newbie friends in real life, but those campaigns were normally short one-shots or two or three sessions. I was the only one of my friends that knew DND well enough to DM back then but that meant I was never really able to play as a player which is unfortunate because I've always wanted too. Anyway, after being a DM for my friends I haven't really touched dnd since and my knowledge and skills are probably really rusty especially as a player. Which is why I'd think joining a beginner friendly party would be a better idea for me to get back into the swing of playing DND again
MISC:
Feel free to respond in this thread but also if you'd prefer to message me on discord it is; juj33 (originally known as; juj#1156). I'm mostly looking for a fun and positive environment to get back into DND in and meet new people, a female dominated party would honestly probably be a bit more comfortable for me but it doesn't necessarily matter either way.
