The Yawning Portal Tavern and Inn is the largest and most popular draughthouse in Waterdeep; the largest and most populated city on the Sword Coast. The owner and proprietor, Durnan, has heard every hero's story and song this side of the Nine Hells.

He won't tell which is his favorite, but Durnan keeps a handful of unfinished stories in his back pocket, for patrons who look like they might be up for adventure.
