This campaign is a long-form adventure spanning three acts & 5-18 levels, set in a world shaped by ancient calamities, fractured planes, and 13 powerful factions. Long ago, a cataclysmic event sealed the Material Plane away from all others, forming an impenetrable barrier that has endured for millennia. No soul may leave, no god may enter, and the remnants of the outer planes linger as mere echoes of their former power. The world has since stagnated, its civilizations rising and falling, now standing on the precipice of a new age—an age of rediscovery, upheaval, and eldritch horror.
Act 1: The Gathering Storm The campaign begins in Vel Adun, the City of a Thousand Flags, a sprawling metropolis built upon an ancient magitech floating island. As the central hub of trade, knowledge, and power, it serves as the perfect starting ground for a party of adventurers—whether they be mercenaries, scholars, thieves, or something else entirely. Opening Quest: The Merchant's Plea The party is gathered by a noble merchant lord, desperate for aid—his son has been kidnapped by a ruthless bandit gang that hijacked a valuable shipping transport. Tasked with tracking down the gang's hideout, the party will navigate the streets of Vel Adun, gathering clues, encountering rival factions, and perhaps even crossing paths with figures tied to the greater, unseen threat looming over the world. How they handle the bandits is up to them. Slaughter them, capture them, negotiate—or gods forbid, seduce them (please don’t). What matters is the outcome: the merchant’s son must be returned, and the reward will be theirs. Yet before the party has time to celebrate, the world-ending event will begin.
Acts 2 & 3? Well, that’s a secret. Join the game and find out what is beginning to wake beneath the surface. This game is meant to be a long-term, immersive campaign (1-2 years) full of political intrigue, eldritch horrors, faction conflicts, and the consequences of player choice. Every faction has its own goals, and every decision made will shape the world. Do you dare step into it?

What I provide: A shared content D&D Beyond Campaign for character Creation. Owlbear Rodeo VTT with some Custom maps A Homebrew world with lots of fascinating Details. A Discord server for session VC to take place.
Gameplay details: Players should send me any hard topics they want fully avoided. Session 0 will mainly be character finalization, and if all goes fast enough character introductions could happen. Breaks will happen about an hour or hour & half into session times and last 15-20 minutes.
How will character creation work: Players are free to create their characters before Session 0 and ask me for details and allowed races and other details.
