Core Plot Summary
Years before the massacre, Kaito is a teenage prodigy, training within the revered yet reclusive Kabuya Clan. When a sacred artifact—the Soul Mirror—is stolen from the inner temple, it triggers a chain of events that puts the entire clan in danger.
Kaito is chosen by the clan elders to track the thief alongside a team of gifted young warriors. What begins as a retrieval mission spirals into a conspiracy involving outsider factions, demonic possession, and a hidden prophecy tied to Kaito and his blade, Shinsei no Kiba, which at this point appears dormant.

3.Junbei the Spirit Drummer – A blind monk whose taiko drum summons echoes of past warriors.
4.Akiro Tanji – A noble from another samurai family; clashes with Kaito but hides a shared burden.
5.Rin the Foxblade – A trickster scout with ties to the thief’s guild; comic relief with a heart of gold.
