Heroes of New Haven is a paid D&D 5e (2024) west march style game where you can take on quests with others on your own schedule. The way this works is when you sign up for the game, you will be invited to a discord server to communicate with others in the group, see available quests, and plan for upcoming events. I am a somewhat experienced GM, but new to this style of play, so this will be a learning curve for me and some things may need to be adjusted down the road. We will be using the 2024 ruleset of D&D 5e, with stuff from 2014 and partner sources allowed if approved by an admin first. Character creation will begin with level 1 characters, and using the standard array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, and 8) for stats. Characters can be made on D&D Beyond or another site and then shared with the GM to overlook and approve.

Each session is its own adventure, and characters will always return to the safety of the town at the end of the session. Before the session, the players will discuss in the discord server to look for a group to take on available quests in their level. When a group has been formed, and a date and time has been determined, the GM will host a game for the session on StartPlaying for the group to sign up on before the session starts. Sessions will be held online with Discord for voice chat, and Foundry for the game itself.
