You dream of silence. The world around you is frozen - not in ice, but in stillness. Beneath you, something vast and warm stirs. You hear it: a heartbeat, deep beneath the soil. It is patient. It is watching.
Set in Greyhawk, this is a long-term, narrative-rich D&D campaign of creeping dread, ancient prophecy, and apocalyptic choice.
Time: Sundays at 8pm GMT+3 (first session 27th April) Rules: 2024, but I’ll allow character options from 2014 books and supplements (published content only) VTT: We’ll be using D&D Beyond Maps for visuals and Discord for voice chat.
If you're interested, please write:
Your name (what you'd like to be called) Any character ideas How long you have been playing D&D (new players are welcome)
Looking for players who enjoy character-driven roleplay, story choices that matter, and a bit of emotional depth.
Hi there! I'd be interested in hearing more about this campaign. My name is Jana, I am German (GMT+2, and I don't mind the time difference) and I have a total of 4 years of experience in playing DND 5th edition. I've played in 3 campaigns as sorcerer, druid and thief, but I'm happy to fill any role if other players have set character ideas already. So I'm not super sure what I would want to play but I tend to take inspiration from the world building and see what the general vibe for the campaign is. I know Discord quite well and have a fairly decent microphone.
If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you on Discord, my name there is Jana5036. :)
My name is Vojta, but you can call me Floppy or V. I have been playing DnD, since my highschool days, so it's already over 5 years probably, but most of my experience comes from friendly one shots without much sense. So far I've been in 3 long term campaigns, one of which is still ongoing, one that I myself DMed, and one that fell apart halfway through.
I do have some characters in mind, but I prefer making them more in depth after I learn more about the campaign, so I'll just summarize my playstyle, so you can get a better idea, of who you'd be playing with. I usually play spellcasters, but that doesn't mean I stray from the other classes, though I don't have much experience with them so far. I am a very roleplay heavy type of a player and generally try to get into my character as much as possible to really submerge myself into the campaign, the DM has made for us.

I'd be really keen to hear and chat more about this campaign. You can just call me Synth or... some variation of that since that's what all my handles are on pretty much all sites. I've been playing D&D and roleplaying in various other forms and TTRPGs for maybe 10 years; though I'm yet to use any of the 2024 rules so... this will be a bit of an interesting campaign to learn some of the changes.
As for characters, as an almost forever DM I've got plenty of character ideas rolling around in my head that I never got to play, but when it comes to actually making a character for a campaign I prefer to learn a little more about the setting and what the rest of the party wants to play as I really don't mind filling roles. I'm looking to take on a couple of Weekend games so this would be an ideal time for a Sunday game.
My discord handle is synth4421 so just send me a FR if you're still looking for players.
My names A1, or Nick both names will catch my attention. I'm in a fairly different timezone(Eastern Standard) but the difference doesn't bother me at all. As for my experience, I've been both a DM and Player for a little over 12 years, which feels like forever.
I have a character idea I've been dying to play. A boy who was once an urchin, a poor and neglected child who would be taken in by a church, changing his life forever From here he would have some development, and several years he would become a wondering priest, spreading the word of his god and their divinity.
My Discord is a1saucenonit, hope to hear from you!
-Selena (I am transgender; I would like to state in case that might cause any issue)
-I've been wanting to play Valor half-elf/elf Bard who came from a line of Bladesingers, who uses the stories of their valorous battles to fuel her own performance, using the new True Strike in combination with the cantrip-Extra attack to serve as the bread-and-butter of my build.
-I've been playing D&D since 2016, so 9 years now. I've played 4e and 5e aswell!
Greetings. I'm a Player/DM but have not gotten into Greyhawk yet so I would love to join. My name is Laurin and I've been playing DnD for about 4 years and been dming for the last 2 years. Generally I think characters are shaped by influences of their environment like geography, society, ethical standards etc.. Since I know close to nothing about Greyhawk I would love to explore some of it and shape my character based on the aquired knowledge. If there's still room left; my discord is guavatar.
Hi, I'm Vasily, quite new to DnD, but really want to dive into. Have a little experience with a short compain over 10 sessions.
As per character I prefer priests or sorserers of different kinds and invest in the roleplay. While not being experienced in tabletop I have quite a great number of years in pc RPGs always focusing on the character and they're motivation, history, persona, etc.
I'm in GMT+2, so time difference is minimal and fine for me. Will be glad to going if there still is space :)
Hi I would love to join if there are any spaces still open.
My name is Solaris, and I have been playing D&D 5E for almost 6 years now. As for character ideas, I have a few in mind, but I always like to see what everyone else is playing, before I decide on a definite character. I am also flexible in what I play, but I mostly stick with martial classes.
Hiya, I would love to join if there was any space left!
Everyone just calls me Ember, and I am pretty addicted to my artificer/wizard combos, though I am happy to try something new to party balance.
I have played D&D for a little while now (around 18 months), but nothing with as much regularity as I would have liked as it was largely oneshots and never a campaign. I would seriously love an opportunity to play something with a coherent world and the chance to develop a character, rather than solely smashing mobs (though I rather enjoy that too, NGL!)
Thanks for any consideration, and have a nice evening!
One space remains available due to a player I had invited not being able to do the game time. Let me know here if you are interested. And if you have already posted above, please post again to confirm your interest
I'm looking to get back into DnD. Haven't played it in a few years and BG3 has just re-ignited that desire to roll some dice. I've played on and off for a some years, playing some one off campaigns and a few longer term ones (and plenty of Call of C'thulu!). I'm familiar with the rule set and how classes generally work and what to look for in rule books.
Definitely down for heavier story elements outside combat.
I've a few character archetypes I like playing, and I like to tweak them to the specific settings. I like playing the heart of gold adventurer (though maybe a bit ditzy) who'll back his party no matter what. Or the stoic knight fighting for order above all else and who subscribes to might makes right.
I love playing fighters but also enjoy controller/support type characters. But I'm open to dabbling in new classes depending on the group set up.
Hopefully this meets your criteria, I'm dying to get back into table top =D .
I live in Ireland, so that puts me 2 hours ahead if I'm not mistaken.
Hey, I'm Giovanni, new player on the lookout for a nice game to join.
I'm familiar with the rules of DnD, and have plenty of other roleplaying experience, so I hope me being new won't be too much of a problem.
Otherwise, in terms of characters I like to play : consider me a wild card in terms of class, race, and even alignment. I've always enjoyed roleplay as having to immerse myself as a preselected character, allowing me to act out what I think their actions would be based on their personality and background.
Also, I'm fluent in English, and have a pretty good mic as well!
Hopefully there's still some space left.
Thank you for your time.
