This is not your traditional adventurer campaign—this is a heist campaign. If you're unsure of the difference, feel free to ask!

Inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where individual heroes were introduced before coming together in The Avengers, this campaign will feature character-driven one-shots for each main character. These adventures will tie directly into Waterdeep: Dragon Heist and the larger campaign arc, creating a cohesive, immersive story.

If you're looking for a standard D&D game, this might not be the right table for you. We're crafting a collaborative experience that extends beyond gameplay.

The Importance of Our Watch Parties

Participation in weekly D&D watch parties is required and essential to the campaign's success.

• Creative Alignment: Watch parties act as creative anchors for the group. By watching and discussing D&D-related movies and shows together, we align our storytelling perspectives. This shared frame of reference ensures cohesive narrative collaboration, where everyone's contributions complement each other.

• Building Camaraderie: These gatherings are more than entertainment; they’re opportunities to connect as a team. Stronger bonds outside the game create deeper, more authentic character dynamics in the campaign, enriching everyone's experience.

• Inspiration and Ideas: The movies and shows we watch spark creativity, influencing character development, plot twists, and heist strategies. Think of these as brainstorming sessions disguised as fun movie nights.

• Commitment to the Group: Regular participation shows dedication to the campaign and respect for the effort everyone invests. If you're not interested in forming friendships or engaging in these collaborative activities, this isn’t the table for you.

What to Expect

Custom Adventures for Your Character

• Start as a level 1 rogue (to fit the heist theme).
• Work closely with me to develop your backstory.
• Star in a personalized one-shot adventure based on your character, which integrates directly into the larger story.
• During your one-shot, other players will run their backup characters, ensuring your introduction fits naturally into the group dynamic.

Backup Characters with Purpose

• All players create backup characters to play in others’ one-shots.
• These backups are woven into the story and group, eliminating awkward "new person joins the party" moments if a main character dies.
• This approach keeps the story fluid and the group dynamic intact.

Heist-Focused Gameplay

• Waterdeep: Dragon Heist is reimagined with a focus on planning, creativity, and teamwork.
• After starting as rogues, players can multiclass into other classes as their characters develop.

My Contributions

• Purchasing campaign books and maps ($30 on D&D Beyond, $30 on Roll20).
• Subscriptions to D&D Beyond and Roll20 for advanced features.
• Creative tools like DALL·E 3 for AI art ($20/month).
• Monthly expenses total at least $50.
