Myth here (He/Him) Professional LGBTQIA+ GM and veteran Critical Role fan 💪 Following on from the success of the first two runs, were currently looking for 1 more player to join the third run of my Pay To Play Exandria Adventure: Shots In The Dark! 🎲 Beginner friendly with new and experienced players welcome! Game: Shots In The Dark (Group 3) - A Tal’Dorei Adventure For New Players & Critters (5e, Legacy Rules)
Group: Online - Zoom (Video+Voice), Discord (Rolling) and Encounter+ (Combat)
Experience: 7.5 years GM experience
Start Time: 7pm GMT Tuesday Nights
Regularity: Weekly
Length: 5-6 Sessions
Starting Level: 3
Game Style: In the style of Critical Role and Dimension 20 (focus on Role Play, Inclusion and a balance of Exploration, Social Interaction and Combat)
Price: £12.50 p/session via transfer, with Session 0 being free
About The Game
This adventure is one I’ve run a number of times over the years for different groups, twice professionally, and is primarily designed as a starting point for new players who are lookin’ to dip their toe into the world of DnD in a welcoming environment, and for players who are fans of Critical Role who have yet to experience a game set in Exandria, with a focus on immersive storytelling 🐉 The adventure is set in a city called Kymal (basically fantasy Las Vegas) and will have the players working for a Thieves Guild known as The Clasp to navigate the city, locate a certain person of interest and smuggle them out 💎
My DMing style is most inspired by Matt Mercer and D20’s Brennan Lee Mulligan, Session 0 and a number of Safety Tools will be in place, as well as Music, Atmospheric Sounds and Voice Modulating Effects 🎙 Characters will start at Level 3 and end at Level 4 💪 Here’s a link to my StartPlaying profile if you want to know more about myself or read some reviews from previous players 👍 https://startplaying.games/gm/mythmaker
What You’ll Receive
As part of this adventure, as a player you will receive:
-Private collaboration with myself before Session 0 to help craft a character that you’ll be excited to play and will feel like a living part of the world 🪶
-At least One Significant Connection/NPC from your character’s backstory included as part of the adventure 📚
-A Common Magic Item to start the game with linked to your character’s backstory🔮
-A Free Feat for your character to start the adventure with (no double Feat for Variant Humans) 🏋️♂️
-The option of your character starting with a Fettle: a minor debuff linked to their backstory to add depth to them (rolling on the Wild Magic Table for spells for example) in exchange for a +1 to any ability score ⚖️
-The chance to join a vibrant and welcoming gaming group that is enthusiastic and supportive of each other 🖤
