Just a humble DM wanting to try and actually be a player for once. My last game fizzled out due to player scheduling and it's time to change it up. I'm familiar with 5e and 5.5 and own the core rules for both. I'm pretty open to anything when it comes to setting, homebrew, etc.
Game: D&D 2024 (preferred) or 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: a few years Location/Timezone: US Central Availability: Flexible Preferred role: Player Game style: Balance between role-playing and combat
I hear you loud and clear—games fizzling out is sadly way too common these days. It’s one of the big reasons we created Legends & Lore in the first place.
We’re a community built around stability, connection, and storytelling, with a focus on bringing together mature, like-minded players who are looking for more than just a random seat at a table. We take time getting to know each other before diving into games, which has helped us build groups that actually last—because at the end of the day, it’s the people at the table who keep the stories alive.
We focus mainly on 5e rules (with some groups starting to explore 2024 content too), and we offer more than just D&D: we also host casual hangout nights like trivia, online board games, and other ways to unwind and have fun together.
While I can’t promise an immediate seat (we have a simple membership process first), what I can offer is a real community—a place where you can meet new people, play great games, and actually feel connected again.

Hello fellow Forever DM! Feels like it's our lot in life, doesn't it? We're older, we experienced things they don't even teach anymore (like good grammar!) and we're the ones getting tasked to run games. We never, or almost never, get to play, and that sh*t is getting old.
But I feel ya, and I have 3 games with seats available. Hit me back at gm_dm_alexander on Discord.
Have you found a game to join yet? If you have an interest, I run a Sunday evening game 6 - 10 PM (EST).
