D&D 5e 2014 (I am open to incorporating 2024 stuff, I just don't have it currently)
Game type: Face-to-Face
Experience: Any is fine, but PLEASE at least watch a few youtube videos so you understand the basics and mechanics. Personally, I have player experience with 2.5e, 3.5e, and 5e. This will be my first time DMing so please don't expect perfection from the get-go.
Location: About an hour south of Boston, MA
Availability: Saturdays 10am to 7pm (The end time is a bit flexible). I would like to do either weekly or bi-weekly sessions.
Roles Sought: I am looking for 4-6 players, 21+ (preferably 25 to 40ish) I'm in my early 40's.
Game Style: I am going for a roughly even balance between combat, exploration, and roleplay. I am aiming for at least 1 combat encounter per session. This will be a homebrew sandbox style game - as in many smaller adventures and encounters instead of big ones. The main premise is that the PCs will start out as new members of an adventurer's guild.
Classes/Races/Homebrew: No restrictions here, as long as it is well thought out, somewhat balanced and play tested. I will need a copy of the class/race/feat/whatever to review. I also have access to Classes and Subclasses from 3rd party stuff such as Grim hollow, Dungeons of drakenheim, Ryokos guide, Valda's spire of secrets, and the ultimate adventurer's guide.
