Hey there! I’m not just here to join a D&D campaign — I’m looking for people I can call friends. For me, a great campaign is built on a comfortable, supportive space where everyone feels like family. I’m hoping to find a group that loves to hang out, laugh, and get immersed in storytelling together.
A Bit About Me:
Experience: I’ve been into D&D (mostly 5e) for a couple of years, mainly as a fan. I’ve followed shows like Critical Role, Dimension 20, and Vampire: The Masquerade – LA by Night. That said, I haven’t actually played in a campaign yet — looking for my first one!
Playstyle: I’m all about roleplaying, character growth, and a good mix of combat and narrative. Not big on min-maxing — I just want to have fun and get into the story. And hey, I’m a sucker for a little romance in-game! I use a Fifine AM8 mic, so you’ll hear me loud and clear, and I’d love to play over Discord voice chat. Ideally, I’d love a group that’s really immersive and not afraid to go all-in on roleplay. Oh and I would love to use my actual dice if possible (I have a problem buying them and need to put them in use lol)
Schedule: I’m super flexible! Weekly or biweekly works great. I’m in PST and prefer sessions that are before 5pm , but I can work with most time zones.
Character Preferences: I’m open to playing just about anything — I love building characters that fit the world and the party.
A Little About Me: Names Janessa/ Nessa (Female) I’m turning 19 in August. I’m a lesbian, and if that’s something you’re not cool with, no hard feelings, just keep scrolling. I’m half Japanese, a quarter Black, and a quarter Mexican. I do deal with social anxiety, so I might be a little quiet at first, but I warm up quickly if the vibe is right.
If you’re running a campaign and looking for a player (and a friend!), I’d love to join. Feel free to DM me or leave a comment.
Thanks for reading!
Ps: I would like it if there was at least one other woman in the group.
Hey Nessa! You just put to words exactly what I'm looking for lol. I'm Jeremy, a 20 y old gay guy looking for a nice supportive group that I feel comfortable with. I've played D&D a couple times before (years ago though so I'm pretty rusty) but the vibes never ended up being quite right. I'm also a bit quiet sometimes but that goes away quick when I'm with the right people.
If enough people reply to this maybe we can put together a little group and try to find a dm :)
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Relatively inexperienced player that's looking to get back into d&d. Ready to meet some new people and have some fun <3
Heya my names Rob/Robert 22 and i personally think the people on this thread are under real danger of having too much damn fun if im added too this rag tag group.
I did voice acting a little out of High-school so my mic isn't the worst. As far as what im looking for out of a game🤔? I'd have too say good jokes a decent narrative and genuinely life threatening combat when fighting(How else will the party get closer if the dm is scared too kill us🥺)
Anyway this is for the poster's consideration and hope to hear from you soon!
Hi! I'm Bri (she/her, 22), I'm queer, and I absolutely adore your description of a campaign that cultivates a shared sense of warmth and friendship. I'm a babyish DM - I've only run three partial campaigns for a total of seventeen sessions - but I would love to chat with you and any of the other folks on this thread about running something for you guys! I'm a super roleplay-focused kind of person who believes that the bonds forged between characters and players are the most important thing that can happen at the table (but it's always nice to get up to some beautiful genre-based shenanigans along the way!). My discord is lavendersandfireworks if you want to chat more :)
P.S. I agree with Robert - your taste in actual play media is gorgeous!
Hey Nessa! I’m Grant, or Juice(20M) and I just posted a Looking for Group for a campaign I’m wanting to start running on Thursdays - the only issue is I’m CST and plan on running my game at 8 to what would be close to midnight for me. If I’m doing my math right I think that’d be 6-10 ish for you. If you don’t think that’s a problem I’d love to let you and maybe a couple people in these replies in on it!
Currently only have two other players which are long term friends of mine one of which I met through my first online campaign that was like found family. We want this vibe for the new game! You can find more game info in my post on this forum if you’re interested, no hard feelings if you aren’t :>
Hey, i totally resonate with your post! i'm also pretty shy, am newer to Dnd and looking for a group of friends who can grow together. Would be interested in joining a campaign if you put one together
