Name: Bob • Country: USA EST • What's your experience: I have played Dungeons & Dragons since 1993 from 1st edition through 5th edition to the 2024 rules. That does not mean that I am a master of the rules by any stretch of the imagination. Even though I have said that I have played since 1993, i have not played constantly in that time. I have played off and on over all these years.
•I am 45 years old.
•I love a good balance of role play, combat, and exploration. I tend to be a milestone player. I can play any class or sub class. I love to do voices and I will roleplay fairly well. I do not min-max my characters. I build them to fit a certain picture that I see within my head. They often will have flaws as well as sometimes exceptional abilities. love Forgotten Realms for its versatility.
While I have tried to be a DM, being a player is where I belong. Therefore, I am looking for a game as a player and would love to jump in on a fun, grownup, accepting game. My work schedule is what has gotten in the way as I work the graveyard shift. I am looking for a game that I can play during the graveyard hours at my job. Anywhere from 11PM to 5 AM. I know those hours sound really strange but that is the work hours I have. It is that easy that I can play while doing my work. It poses literally zero distraction or impact on the game. I live in Eastern Standard Timezone in the United States. Any game Monday thru Friday after 11PM EST would work easily and effectively. My one big flaw is that I sometimes struggle with the platforms. I can Skype. I've never used Zoom. Never used Fantasy Grounds. Love roll20. Learning Discord. User: EmperorPoe2
With help, I'm willing to learn any platform. I also have a full library of characters ready to go on DnDBeyond. Hope to see you guys out there.
Hey - have you had any luck finding some games? I'm an older gamer as well - saw your post - figured I'd stop by and say Howdy.
I'm also looking to pick up a game or two - weekly or bi-weekly.
Eastern US time zone for me - I'm one of those D&Ders who loves the story and role play probably more than combat - though I enjoy regular combat as well. Humor is also fun. I enjoy a good team of players working with the DM to build a fun story. I do love back and forward story lore on my characters, when asked to supply such information.
I've played all editions of D&D, from 1st to 2024 5e - I'm most familiar with 3rd and 3.5, but am enjoying learning 5e and experimenting with a variety of characters.

So far no luck on finding a graveyard hours game. Hope we find one soon.

I'd be down for a graveyard shift game - Player only for me - not up to the work of DMing.
I'll keep in touch.
