Iuz the terrible has returned and marshals his legions to plunge the continent of Flanaess into war. They say he has found - through his mastery of the mystic arts - immortality. They say that he is invincible on the field of battle. They say he is a God.
You will be starting at first level as a party of adventurers based out of the city of Greyhawk. This will be something of a sandbox on rails and will be entirely player driven until Iuz finishes reorganizing his territory and attacks the Kingdom of Furyondy.
Player buy in : make a character who actively desires to co-operate with the party and who would be opposed to the FORCES OF CHAOS being triumphant. Someone who would resolve themselves to stop Iuz no matter the cost.
We will be using DNDBeyond and Discord to play.
A little bit about myself : I'm 25 and I'm a novice DM. This will be essentially my first time trying to play DND over the internet. Years ago back in highschool I DMed a multi year campaign in regular 5e. That's all the experience I have - I haven't played at all in years and years.
