what sort of Character you would like to play and ideas of backstory
2. Role play first, with a healthy dose of combat of the non kid-gloves variety. Stakes.
3. Fil is a middle aged human with pepper and salt hair and a full beard. He was a mercenary, until a job on the wrong side of the law ran afoul of a band of adventurers. He only survived by swearing to seek battle in the name of the god of war(whoever that is in this setting, PC will be N aligned). Now warfare is religion, and a battle cry a hymn. (Human War Domain Cleric, N leaning good).
4. Looking for one to join, it seems likely scheduling will work, and I dig the emphasis on role play.
5. Started with AD&D and have played every edition since. Varying experience with more systems than I could count.
6. EST weeknights as long as it’s not crazy late or weekend days.
18 year old male, military background, gamer heart, bookworm mind
A new expirence, if not, a good time
Fang "Draben" is a new noble, raised up to knighthood for his actions in the defense of his town. However, before settling in to the life of managing his new land, Fang desired to see the world. So, leaving his retsiners,he set out. (Human Fighter/Samurai) (am willing to use another character for the sake of the party, i seeiously have WAAAAY to many on the bench)
No reason to join, but no reason not to join, if I had to give one....it looked interesting?
experienced Player & DM with many games under my belt. Some worked, some didn't, but we all enjoyed the moments regardless
PST zone, can handle literally any schedule, am very flexible; have games I run on Sat & Sun evening
1. 18 Male. Interests in music being a guitarist; I also enjoying reading and writing.
2. Good Roleplaying experiances and exploring character concepts.
3. I usally wait to hear about the world I am playing and then build a character into it, makes it feel more involed that way. However, I have had an idea for Tiefling Paladin of Redemption brewing for a little while.
4. Was pushed out of a toxic group of players a few months back. Was relucatate to get back into it, but the few good times I had playing with that group make me hopeful enough to try again.
5. Big fan of video game RPGs such as Pillars of Eternity. DM'd a few times for friends and was a player in a long term campaign that went to level 14 over the space of 11 months.
6. GMT, I'm available every week night and weekend days.
I'm new to D&D, so I don't really know what to expect. What I'm looking for is fun, be it roleplay or combat.
Pretty much open to a lot of character concepts or something that is still needed in the party. I'm interested in playing a monk or maybe an arcane archer, but not really dead set on anything.
It is difficult to find a group in my timezone, i think this one might just work out.
I will be joining my first D&D campaign in a couple of days, so not really any experience yet.
GMT +2 I'm available most evenings (i think Saturday is probably the only day that i can't promise)
Brian. American Born. World Traveler. 28. Male. White
I desire to play a long term game where the group comes together and becomes a family. A story driven campaign with good combat and acceptance of the rule of cool. In summary, a campaign very much like Critical Role.
I would like to a style of character I have not played before. I have played far to many martial and cleric style characters. I would like a play a character that is unexpected and counter to standard "min max" but I also desire to Build a character you fits in well in the group.
I have not played for nearly a year now but for that time have been behind the screen on and off.
I have played primarily D&D and dabbled in the Star War, Edge of the Empire only a tiny bit. Played 5e since release essentially, and played 3.5 for many years before that.
My work schedule changes every month, to include surprise practices and meetings. However I usually have my entire schedule for the month the last week prior so I can plan ahead most of the time. Currently in GMT but sometime in August I should be moving to GMT +1
I like heavy role play and above all have fun with the rest of the group. I like the fighting and exploration as everyone else. Not a super fan of puzzles but I tolerate them well.
I like yo adapt to the group. Maybe a chaotic good Rogue would be in order (For what I ser on the other aplicaciones). Some orphan boy that has been surviving on the city since childhood, desperate yo prove that he can be something more than surviving trash
I've taken the DM role on my group for a year and is awesome but I miss the feeling of having a character growing.
I've been playing tabletop rpg's on and off since I had 15 years, DMing once a month since last year
GMT+2 I'm available on the weekends (I work 1 saturday or Sunday every month, but the rest of weekends I'm available)
I think I must add that English is not my first language (I've been told that I speak it very well, but I warn you about It)
2. A good time, some good story/rp, some combat on the side too
3.I have a couple of characters I'd like to use, but would be willing to make a new one to fit in better with an existing group (would rather avoid paladin as that's what I'm using in my other game though):
Hjortr/Hardarai 'Shadow' Amakiir, Human Rogue (scout). Backstory Short version: A human raised by a group of nomadic wood elves, left at about 16 to join up with the local military. During training fast tracked into the scout/spy unit. Fell in love with a Lieutenant. She died whilst I was away visiting wood elves. Left military and took up bounty hunting/monster hunting in the wilds. Spent a long time in solitude, and now wish to find companionship once again (non-romantic).
Felix, Changeling Warlock (The Raven Queen). Backstory Short version: A group of hunters goes after changelings to harvest shapeshifting organs from them. (they sell for a lot). Father killed protecting mother before birth. When young mother did the same for you, leaving you in a library before disappearing. Thirst for knowledge you read all the books you could and earned a small keep helping around the library you were abandoned at. Traveled around a lot between libraries. Began trying simple magic from books, and gained a fascination with necromancy. Ended up in the shadowfell in front of the Raven Queen and pledged allegiance to her. Fell in love with a ranger who turned out to be a silver dragon. Helped rebuild a city with woodcraft skills.
(Warning, my backstories can end up being quite long...)
4. Want to join a group that uses mics and on gmt time.
5.watched a lot of critical role and a couple others, currently playing another game as well. (recently started, and my first game)
6. UK time evenings except Mon and weds. From 7/8pm depending on the day. (sometimes earlier, depends on work schedule)
I'm usually a DM, but I am yearning to be a player
I have about 6 million characters rolled up, but I'm really interested in an Eladrin warlock of the Archfey with a spy background.
The roll playing aspect of the game is the #1 reason I enjoy it. That' and building a character's backstory and discovering worldbuilding aspects.
I've played D&D for a couple years, almost entirely as DM and all 5e (with the exeption of one Pathfinder session, which was just too much for my first foree into DMing)
I'm in Vancouver (PDT) and would prefer Sunday games as I'm currently working that 9-5 grind.
39 year old man who's been a gamer for over 30 years.
I like games with a strong narrative with everyone contributing to the storytelling.
I have a few characters I wouldn't mind playing. A human rogue who runs a semi-charitable organisation dedicated to providing a combination of both honest and slightly-less-honest work to urchins, orphans and assorted ne'er-do-wells. An eladrin fighter exiled for killing another noble in an honour duel. An aasimar cleric who has lived countless lives in service to the gods, reborn once more to stand against the forces of evil. If none of those work with the theme, happy to make a character who does.
I've been looking for a campaign for a while. This seems to fit with both the right timezone and style for narrative and combat.
I started playing AD&D at Uni and have played a number of different systems over the years. My most recent experience has been as DM for a group of friends for a 4E/5E DND campaign that's been running for around 5 years.
GMT+1. Available most weekday evenings except Wednesdays. Thursdays I'm normally only around a little later because of travel for work. Could probably do a daytime slot at the weekend as well.
Currently looking for a group along with my husband. We had a group we were playing with with these characters but our DM had to quit after a couple of sessions due to school.
28 year old female / 30 year old male
I think we're both just looking for a fun, interesting story with a fun group of players/DM
Arcane trickerster half-elf (Layna) and Mastermind half-elf (Shadow). Locations of the backstory can be tweaked, since they were written for Faerun, but Layna and Shadow have a complicated past. Partners in crime who became more until their relationship was soured by a poorly-timed philter of love. They've been out of contact for a couple of years and aren't super thrilled to discover that they still work really well together.
We lost our last group, and I love homebrew stuff. It sounds like fun!
We both got into it about a year ago, so all 5e stuff. He DMs our Tuesday group, I mostly just play.
EST - Ideally, we'd like to have a Friday evening group so we don't have to do that whole "ugh I have to go to work in the morning" thing and just enjoy it. Could also probably make Monday or Wednesday evenings work (starting at 7 EST), or probably Sundays.
We're looking to be able to play in a campaign together, as we've tried to play before and it's never worked out due to scheduling at the time. We're hoping for a game that let's us be creative, have some fun narration and challenge, and create characters and stories.
Myself personally, I'm sitting on 4 different characters, but can fill for a needed role. I have a Monk, Fight/Gunslinger, Druid/Cleric, or Battle Master. My friend would have first choice be warlock, but will play other magic classes, or a dex based character.
We would like to join, because we have wanted to be in along lasting campaign for a while and the stars just haven't aligned for us until recently. Yours seems to be one that will offer a bit of every part of D&D, and we want more than just dungeon delving.
I've played a few small sessions here and there, but have been DMing a long term homebrew for over a year now, that's still going on. I'm looking to be able to finally be a player too. My friend is a bit newer in D&D, but understands the rules, and has done a three session homebrew as a DM. He has also played other RPGs, like Exhalted.
CDT and EDT. Availability for me would be most weekday evenings, sometimes able to do Saturdays and Sunday evenings as well. My friend is available weekdays sans Tuesday after 6pm EDT, or all of Sunday.
A lot more role playing then what I am usually doing in the games I play/DM
I'm flexible with character and would like to know more about the campaign before creation.
Have only played with local crew and want to switch it up to a more role playing style since current crew doesn't role play much.
Started playing in 3.5 10 years ago then have played pathfinder, rouge trader, dark heresy, starfinder a bit, and have learned how to but haven't yet on 5e.
Am available after 6pm eastern time Mon, tues, thurs, every other Saturday (have a current group and we play every other Saturday), and every sunday.
2. Open to anything, as long as it is fun. Would enjoy a campaign that is more story focused and has a lot of RP with a few yet really engaging and fun combat encounters.
3. The characters I would want to play are really between an Eldritch Knight, or a Storm Herald Barbarian. Something just really calls to me with the idea of being in the melee and swinging heavy and large weapons. Most roleplaying games I play I take to that fantasy hard and really enjoy it.
4. I would love to join simply to play some DnD as many campaigns in the past have fallen apart due to others just abandoning the group and deciding not to show up.
5. I have about 3 years experience with DnD 5e, and I have access to all the sourcebooks on DnD beyond as well as access to quite a few of the books in person. I am really into it and have mainly DM'd during my tenure as a DnD player, but would absolutely love playing a character in something other than a oneshot.
6. I am in Eastern Standard Time (EST) and my availability is quite open. Majority of evenings are free, and if I cannot go it is either because I am running a personal campaign with friends or am working. As long as I have a heads up on the date of the session I will be able to come, as I will organize my life around the session. My priorities are not straight
I'm looking to have fun and get better at playing D&D. A big fan of emergent storytelling and wanting to dust off my RP skills
I have a tabaxi cleric of the Arcana Domain under Deneir that would be fun for me to try out. The scope of their goals are flexible as they're on a scribe's pilgrimage, but I'm excited to try out this domain.
To play! Not much else to it.
Experience with 4e years ago, well studied regarding 5e, but not much playtime.
I am looking for consistency and fun. I am struggling finding a group live where I live, so I am hoping for something great online.
I have a lvl 1 dragonborn fighter named Drhogar, he is extremely intelligent and is utilizing his raw strength and ferocity to bring in money as a mercenary to satiate his love of books and knowledge. There's more but I wont spoil it here. I am also incredibly flexible with my character choice, i have several other fun ideas in my head.
I'm new to tabletop roleplaying games in a way. I am looking for an experience to perfect my roleplay and just being lost in the moment/game. I am hoping it to be fun. I like story telling but have never fully embraced that side of me yet.
I am very new to actual play. But I am pretty well versed in the content have read most of the source material for 3.5 and for 5e, just never having played. I have participated in 1 adventurer's league but it wasn't the long term campaign with friends I truly want.
Eastern Timezone, in FL, I have a good bit of flexibility and could easily arrange every 2 weeks (with plenty of potential for more frequency). Sunday through Thursday tend to be the better nights.

Hey I am very interested
Currently looking for a group along with my husband. We had a group we were playing with with these characters but our DM had to quit after a couple of sessions due to school.
Thank you for your consideration.

I'm a friend of Roz's. I'm very interested in a long term game.
1. Mo / 39
2. Emersive and Continuing story to get hooked on.
3. Dwarven War Cleric, but I'm flexible.
4. Looking for a stable group that would play on regular.
5. I'm well versed in 5e, but played 3.5 when I was younger.
6. EST, Any evenings would work.
Hey I’m a bit interested.
1. Male 28 years old.
2. Just looking for a fun rp game.
3. I have an idea for a character. He’s a Goblin trickster cleric. I have a backstory for him and everything.
4. I like role playing. I love everything about it.
5. I’ve played quite a bit recently. I was also on a very small dnd game for YouTube that was all about rp.
6. Eastern time zone. Unfortunately I can only do Monday Wednesday and Thursday. Anytime after 5 works for me.
