Time: EST (our time--other time zones are fine so long as we can work around scheduling). Preferably Fridays-Sundays. We have late classes during the week so any sessions scheduled on weekdays would have to be late.
Experience: Any experience level
Age Range: Preferably 18-30
Style/Type: We're looking for a long-term campaign with flexibility as far as the world/rules go. We have some characters in mind but are willing to change some things to help with group/party dynamics. Love both roleplay and combat
Looking For: We are two 20-year-olds and a 23-year-old looking for a group of 2-3 other people (and a DM!). We would hope to have a session every week. We have varying experience (beginner, intermediate, and veteran), and we're looking for a campaign with lots of RP, though we like a good balance of humour and combat too. Basically anything!
Your group sounds like a fantastic fit for The Nexus, a lively and inclusive D&D 5e community based on Discord. We're an 18+ LGBTQAI+ friendly space with players from all experience levels—newbies to veterans—and we’d absolutely welcome a trio like yours! Our setup is Westmarch-style with a unique twist: instead of a single unified world, your characters venture from a shared hub into multiple persistent worlds, each run by a different DM with their own tone and setting. Most sessions are one-shots, but some DMs do offer longer arcs—though campaign-style continuity is a bit rarer here. Still, with weekly play in mind, our global community runs sessions every day (including weekends!), so finding games on your preferred days is very doable. We use the 2014 5e rules with all official sources. Characters start at level 3 with a generous 35 Point Buy. No level cap, but proficiency bonus is capped at +10, which makes multiclassing super fun. You can level up through live voice games or text-based RP / PBP if that ever appeals to your group too.
If this sounds like a fun option while you’re looking for a longer campaign—or even something to dive into regularly—check out my forum post here!
