Sounds like you’d be a great fit for The Nexus, a super welcoming and active D&D 5e community based on Discord. We’re an 18+ LGBTQAI+ friendly group with a Westmarch-style setup—but with a twist. Instead of one shared world, your character travels from a common hub to explore a variety of unique worlds, each run by different DMs. Most sessions are one-shots, though some DMs do run occasional campaign-style arcs. With your flexible schedule and solid experience, you’ll likely find plenty of opportunities to jump into games—our global community runs multiple sessions daily. We use 2014 5e rules with all official sources allowed, and characters start at level 3 with a boosted 35 Point Buy. No level cap, but we do cap proficiency bonus at +10, which really opens the door for creative multiclassing. You can level up through live voice sessions or play-by-post / text RP if you prefer a slower pace.
Hey venrir! i have two possible games to join atm, one is a one shot im trying to put together this saturday at 7 pm est and the other is a dungeons of drakkenheim campaign, every other sunday at 8:15 pm est. both are paid though im not sure how you feel about that: the one shot is $5, the campaign is $20. we use foundry and discord for running the games. lmk if you're interested!
Yo venrir I'm just about new, one campaign so far and are willing to be anything, in usa, can only play from late Thursday through mid to late Sunday us central time, 16 yo Male, does voice impressions and acting
You know where to go if you change your mind. People tend to find groups they play with on the more regular eventually, but it can certainly be daunting getting in properly :)

I am an 23yr old Male Australian player that only has experience with playing online. looking for a new Campaign or One shot to play.
I have an exceptionally flexible schedule.
I am competent with the mechanics of combat and most spells, I'm flexible with what classes i am willing to play and like trying new stuff.
I'm experienced with foundry vtt and the dnd beyond free vtt and use dnd beyond for character creation (as most do)
4 years of dnd experience under my belt.

I'm sorry but it doesn't really sound like the game for me.
Best of luck with finding players.
I prefer smaller groups because it feels more connected i guess
