Game: D&D 5e/5.5e Group preferred: Online just because I think it would be much easier and I may not be where everybody else is! Experience: I've been playing D&D for years from about 3.5 and onward I've less experience with 5e but I know what I'm doing most the time Location/Timezone: My time zone is CST, but I don't have lots going on ever, Availability: I'm available most days, after about 1700 CST, the only times I'm not really available are Tuesday evening (1830 cst to about 2200), And Friday Saturday (2100 -0130) Preferred role: I am posting this as a player, I've never been a DM/GM and don't think I have the skill for it honestly. Game style: I'm good with most styles of play and can adjust to enjoy any and all of them
A little about me I'm 33 years old and love TTRPGS and really just looking to fill my time with a game that will hopefully last a while but I'm also down for shorter form games be it one shots or just small multi session games. Let's see my favorite class is wizard and I think my least favorite is prolly fighter but that's more because I like having magic at my disposal. Feel free to hit me up any time and I look forward to hearing from someone
If you're looking for a flexible online D&D group that can offer everything from quick one-shots to longer arcs, The Nexus could be a great fit for you. We’re an 18+ LGBTQIA+ friendly 5e community based on Discord, with a unique Westmarch-style setup—your character explores different worlds from a shared central hub, each run by a different DM.
Most sessions are one-shots, so your schedule works out really well—you can jump into games when you’re available without worrying about missing key story beats. We’ve got DMs and players across time zones, and games run all week, including evenings in CST.
We use 2014 5e rules with all official sources allowed. Characters start at level 3 with a 35 Point Buy, and while there’s no level cap, we do cap proficiency bonus at +10 to maintain balance and support creative multiclassing. If you're a fan of spellcasting, you'll definitely have room to make your ideal wizard shine.
