If you're new to TTRPGs and looking for a welcoming online space to jump into games, The Nexus could be just what you’re looking for. We’re a global, 18+ LGBTQAI+ friendly community that runs free daily games using D&D 5e (2014 ruleset) via Discord.
We use a Westmarch-style setup, but with a twist—each DM runs their own world, giving you a wide variety of themes, tones, and adventures to explore. Whether you’re free in the morning or middle of the night, we’ve got players and DMs from all over the world, so there’s almost always a session or Play-by-Post opportunity open.
New to the game? No problem. We’re very newbie-friendly, and many DMs are happy to help guide you through character creation and mechanics. You’ll start at level 3 using a 35 point buy, and can play as many characters as you’d like across different stories.
