Game: Dungeon of the Mad Mage official D&D module & 2024 Rules
Where we are: We started this Campaign with Dragon Heist, levels 1 to 5 and have moved onto Dungeon of the Mage. The players are currently on the 3 level of the dungeon, which has many more levels. The party is currently at 7 level. The remainder of the campaign should last about 1 year.
Cost: Payment of $14.50 USD ($20 CAD) is made AFTER every 4th session you play. That is $3.62 USD/session ($5 CAD). Payment done on either: Buy Me a Coffee or E-Transfer (Canada only). You are never charged before you play only after ever 4 sessions.
Why the small fee?
The fee is to cover the cost of subscriptions and services that I use to put together the best online game I can for my players. Although I do feel I offer a premium experience for my players, I do not DM for a living. I have a day job, and this fee does not cover all the time I put into the campaign. I do that part because I enjoy playing the game. For your fee, you get one 3.5 to 4 hour session every week starting at 6:30pm EST. Please note that due to scheduled vacations, emergencies or illness, I will miss the occasional session throughout the year.
What you will need to Play:
Foundry VTT
If you have not used Foundry VTT before, it will not be a problem, it is easy to learn. I use a high level of automation, so you do less clicking and more playing. I also use top-down tokens, spell and weapon animations, interactive maps, visual aids, sound effects, music, etc… for the most premium experience I can give you.
Character Creation
You will need to create a 7th level character in D&D Beyond and then I will import into Foundry. I have most of the source books so, you should have lots of options for Character creation. * Note: Some restrictions.
About Me
I played lots of D&D back in the day but have recently returned to the game after an extended period. I do not see the DM’s roll as a storyteller but more of a guide/narrator/referee. I will describe what you see, how the world works, and I will adjudicate the rules, you write the story! My style is pretty open, and I reward players for their creativeness. I want players to have a fun time exploring an exciting world and not get bogged down in the minutia of the game.
