DAY BREAK FINAL is a DnD 5e campaign about none other than magical girls! This will be for all enthusiasts of the classic shows, embracing the tropes, themes, and love we have for this genre. This campaign is pretty roleplay heavy for this reason, and is looking for players who are open to less mechanics and more storytelling (75/25 roleplay to combat). To enhance the experience, this wont be told in the forgotten realms. It will be more of a modern fantasy setting, and we can talk more about how that will work during session zero. While there's not a strict age limit, im not allowing anyone whos not At Least a late teen or young adult in the campaign, so please keep that in mind.
As a DM i have a few years of experience myself. My campaigns are typically aided by Shard Tabletop for a battle map, and i do not in any way require dnd beyond. While i do allow homebrew some of the time, there will be times where i do need to say no- but we can probably figure out something that works, and im open to reflavoring some items or abilities. The campaign will be a mix of lighthearted and serious. There will be more serious moments, in which i do expect the players to take things seriously. But there will be plenty of room for jokes as well. We will use discord for communication + organization, so please keep that in mind.
Sessions will be held Sundays, at 4pm est. Please make sure you can make this day/time a majority of weeks.

To put it simply, you are a magical girl; A part of a secret guild aimed for patching up the tears in the weave and protecting it from those who wish to control magic for themselves. Recently you were put on a new team courtesy of the Magia Recruit Guild, and given a new companion alongside this reassignment. A new team means new powers, a new main assignment, and a fresh start. Whether you’re a seasoned magical girl who’s been in a few teams now, or have just signed the contract with the guild, you now have a mission and a new party to complete it with.
